Actually if this guy were elected President. He is one that the GOPE could not work with, “to get things done†since he would go right after their money. That would teach them good. If he rally believes this about open borders then at least this country would be safe for 4 years as it would not be with Jeb. I think I would prefer him to any other Dem and Jeb too. But, if you ask me he would likely be defeated so that is another reason I hope he wins the Dem nomination. Just think about all of those lib gentrys living in these expensive urban digs! If they had someone serious about redistributing their money that just might change their opinion of a lot of things. Go Bernie.

True libertarianism is about free and open market for goods, services, and labor. A boundary causes inefficiencies during supply of all, especially labor.

It’s possible he understands that open borders = overload of your welfare state, which is something I believe the people in the UK even understand, as they make it very hard to immigrate there.
Commies always liked restrictions, be it in goods or labor. This is why no commie country has open borders. Sanders is a bonafide commie and his policies resonate with the populists from the so-called right. Just facts.

What he is saying is common sense, unmanaged open borders mean the destruction of the middle class. Bush/Clinton is basically a crony capitalist confab.
So what? Other leftists talked up the same thing and did a 180° turn in office. By calling himself a “democratic socialist”, all Sanders is saying is that he’s trying to lie more transparently than his predecessors.
