But, in terms of on-the-ground results, the liberals have been the winners of late.
What debate? The conversation has essentially been a one-way street via pop culture, for example.
When there is debate they lose, that’s why they don’t have them.
We have the practical experience, ideas, and recipe to get us out of the rut we are in.
However, liberals have control via the personalities that dominate pop culture, that move and shake the masses, are great at playing the game of hardball politics, and are even better at using emotion and theatrics to sway people in their favor. And when unsuspecting people who don’t really follow politics hear conservatives defend themselves around them, they know nothing of the offense leveled against them, so Conservatives appear, to them, to be always angry and complaining all the time, which to them is a turn off. If we can overcome these obstacles, we can from there win and put into place tested policies that stem from our practical experience, common sense, and actually pursue reasonable policies to get us out of the rut we are in.
