Allred represents a handful out of over 40 accusers, and Allred just showed up to this story and the police reports going back for many years and which already resulted in an out of court settlement almost 10 years ago.
There is no reason to try and give the impression that this is some local, LA story about Gloria Allred and some California girls.
In his deposition, Cosby admits giving her drugs. The question is what he gave her and whether she knew what he was giving her was a sedative or headache medicine.

You are right about the media. It makes me so mad on various stories; I yell at the radio a lot.
Socially, not in a court of law, socially, this bit of documentation is huge because it still is, regardless of the slant of the stories, Cosby admitting he used prescription drugs for “sex.” The stories of the women, dozens virtually identical, points in the public sphere to a man who doesn’t get excited from beauirful willing women in his bed. It points to a man who gets off on total domination of unwilling comatose victims. A true rapist. And if there were a trial, the prosecution has enough circumstantial evidence to build a slam dunk case.
I saw this info first on the 10:00 news last night and they did exactly what you said, took his remarks out of context and made it seem that old perv Co’s literally admitted to drugging women unconscious and raping them. Which he did not. He only admitted to giving the drugs to women for sex, and could back out of it by saying that the women thought it would be awesome to get loaded on quaaludes and have hot sex.

The info was pulled from court documents, so it was probably Cosby’s lawyer actually saying it.

Uhh I could tell you different. I won’t because this is a public forum.
We called them “thigh spreaders”, and it wasn’t just men that called them that.
They are a downer that pretty much puts a girl out of it, passive submission, or being semi-conscious, is not what most of us call hot sex.
I remember talking to guys who would feed downers to girls, I assume with their consent, but it was not a practice that I could understand.

A) The same way many have had experience with Schedule I drugs. I wasn’t always the witty, intelligent upstanding conservative I am today. My friends joked that I was the “Poster Boy for Better living through chemicals”.
B) As I just posted to you, the only time a girl took a ‘lude with me was if I took one also, and on more than one occasion it was the girl that gave it to me. They weren’t much fun alone.
Times were a little different back then.
