You have been blessed with a good wife. My husband has had a well trimmed beard since I met him, he has grown it out a few times and once it gets long...I can’t handle it anymore. I like the idea, just not the feel of it.
There are other studies saying women think men with beards are more trustworthy.
Straight women like the beard.
I have a handlebar mustache. Women are always coming up to me and telling how much they like it and my beard (although their putting their hands on me is getting to be annoying).
The number of women who do actively express their admiration is just a sample of a greater number that like it and don’t say anything.
“The prophecies tell of a great mustached President who will rise to destroy socialism, you’ll see!! “
That’s great, I love it. That was a quatrain from ‘Nostrildamus’, right?
“Thats because theyre asserting the social construct of their patriarchal hegemony over women by having facial hair, because (most) women cant grow it, too.”
My wife said something like that one time but I told her to bring me a sandwich and that’s the last I heard of it.
Teddy Roosevelt, McKinley, and Garfield all wore moustaches.
IF!! you look up a lot of old real ‘Old West’ pictures, you will find a lot of men with moustaches.
The phallacy (yes, I said that!) of equating men wearing facial hair with the misplaced ideology of sexism, which comes from a offset female mindset, is terrible, unless your name is Snidely Whiplash.
Metrosexualism demands that men do NOT have facial hair, and keep that boyish, childish look.
