Japan Is Back in the Final After Emotional 2011 Win
"They have an amazing team and they're the reigning World Cup champions, so I think it's going to be a fantastic final," U.S. forward Abby Wambach said. "Everyone will have to bring their 'A' game, and whoever finishes their chances the most will come out on top. Hopefully it will be us."

the USWNT's wide defenders have taken on all comers and absolutely dominated them, locking down the flanks with an almost contemptuous ease.

Bassett and England were very lucky the completely incompetent NK ref didn't give her a red card for kicking and flailing against Germany. Well, not so much Bassett - she would be called "a hero" by the English no matter what, LoL!

Laura Bassett 'would do anything' to change her own goal that ended England's World Cup dream
