USWNT vs Germany is last-four clash of the titans
It's hard to pick a winner from two nations which have each triumphed at the tournament twice -- even though the USWNT have not lifted the trophy since 1999 and Germany have won two of the last three tournaments.

“All players on the Norwegian women’s national football team are ethnic Norwegian.”

OMFG! Imagine that! Actual Norwegians on a Norwegian team! What will people think of next - an actual American in the White House instead of a Kenyan Marxist?

Let’s get this straight:

Cameroon’s all-black team = okay
Japan’s all-Asian team = okay
Ecuador’s all-Hispanic team = okay
Norway’s all-white team = a wicked, racist, evil problem that demands a solution, as in Final Solution

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

Okay, USA leads, 1-0, probably should have been a free kick, those things happen, we got a penalty, Germany got some breaks versus France, Sasic missed her PK.

Why in the world, did Sasic look to her sideline as if to the coach before she kicked it, I think that threw her off, the coach/manager was maybe giving a clue as to what side of the net to kick it but it backfired.

Anyway, we made our pk.

Carli Lloyd, Delran New Jersey, so plugs for the Garden State but along with Tobin Heath from Basking Ridge, NJ, NJ is still producing our players.

USA scores again, this is our best game left though Germany had us on the ropes for the first 70 minutes. That should do it.

Sasic looked over to the bench just right before kicking it, looked and did her PK run up on the ball, I think she was unpsyched there. Will watch the remainder, you never know. It really collapsed for Germany.

Yes, well done and to their fans, it was a good match.

In all likelihood, we are going to see Japan/USA, was that not the final of the last World Cup? That is interesting.

Though, I think England have a good chance to go, their manager Sampson is very smart about the game. Could be England vs. USA for the final on July 5th, Sunday, not the fourth of July.

I meant to say “no plugs” for New Jersey in post # 411, not “so plugs”, it is just interesting that that state has contributed many players, men’s and women’s to our national teams.

England has a couple of really good forwards. Japan is going to have to work hard on keeping the defense tight if they want to keep England in check.

So far I haven’t seen any other team demonstrate the skill level of the US, Germany, and France. The speed of play of these three is just at a different level - and the US even took that up tonight.

US possession was superb tonight, and the defense continued to be stellar. I think Germany only got one shot on frame.

It’ll be a fun one to watch tomorrow.
