A doctor was leaving home to compete in a shooting competition held at Magnolia Pistol Range in Byram, MS at approximately 7:45 AM. While making several trips to his truck, two males happened upon him, took him captive at gunpoint, and forced him drive to an ATM to withdraw money. When an opportunity arose, the doctor/competitive shooter retrieved a handgun and shot one of his captors. . . .

‘They told him to get out of the vehicle. The good Doc managed to grab a pistol as he exited the truck and began firing. He shot and killed an Edwin Robinson of Cooper Road. One person at the scene said “he shot the **** out of him”.’

I’ve always said if the urban thugs try to bring their riot act to the suburbs it will be an ugly scene. The burbs and rural areas have literally thousands of hunters, sportsmen and shooters who can hit a moving target the size of a coyote from 3 to 500 yards away without batting an eyelash. These people will be defending their homes and families. I know who I’d put my money on to win that one.

The rioters will not be that stupid. They will bring their looting to the suburban malls and shops, but not residences, for just that reason.

I think a whole lot of those owners of small mall stores and suburban shops won't hesitate to protect their sole source of income with all the firepower in their arsenal. Just like those Korean grocers in LA during the riots.
