A few days later, a Clinton spokesperson announced that the presidential candidate urges the U.S. Supreme Court to rule in favor marriage equality, citing the constitution's clear guarantee of a right to marry.

Hillary puts her political currency (money) where her female orifice is . Which is really what she does.
Her very special orifice has served her well not just personally (you can ask Huma about that) but under the "Hillary Clinton Veh-Jy-Neh" Agenda, that while is extremely pro-active and mainstay of her campaign is never addressed as such due to the political fallout it would cause. So while you never hear it referred to as such does indeed exist. The "Agenda" allows her to encompass the many various political positions she espouses allowing her to connect with gay couples, the abortion issue, and of course those who identify themselves as "Veh-Jy-Neh"-Centric, not so much as a political issue but more on a human level that remains much more difficult to criticize.
Here in this story the "Hillary Clinton "Veh-Jy-Neh" Agenda has her promoting both the "Veh-Jy-Neh" Gay lifestyle and the issue of "Veh-Jy-Neh" Agenda marriage.
Generally speaking a politician promoting an issue is usually based on the very own interest of the candidate to see that the policies they champion come to fruition as law.

I love it when liberals do stuff like this. It is so forgettable for her side - gays aren’t exactly unified on this whole shacking up thing (monogamy!) and still have questions (alimony? Splitting property?) over the whole thing. Liberals who hate her will go back to her statements on marriage (one man, one woman), and liberals who love her will go on about whatever events come in the future that they can hug over.
It’s the opposition who’ll remember her campaigning up at a gay couple’s home. That no matter how sensible (hahahaha) she is on other issues, that one will stick.
It is a lose lose political stunt, yet I’ve seen liberals go to it over and over again. Almost like a Republican suddenly remembering that there’s a church down the street.
