When political commentators note that there is no justification for sexual violence, they aren’t adhering to doctrinal feminism but the tenets of civilized Western thought. No woman, a responsible citizen would say, invites violence merely because their assailant was uncontrollably stimulated by their victim’s choice of attire. This is such a bedrock principle of human decency that it barely needs to be said. Only the most brutish and crude among us would contend otherwise. Why then does it appear vogue to imply that a terrorist attack on a Texas American Freedom Defense Initiative event organized by the group’s president, Pamela Geller, was the inevitable result of provocation on the part of the victims?
Yes, the event that was targeted by Islamist militants in Texas was specifically designed to provoke an inflamed response. The AFDI event promised a $10,000 reward for the attendee who drew the best caricature of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed – an offense that inspired the massacre of editors and cartoonists at the satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Far from being spontaneous, this act of violence was preceded on Twitter by users praising the attackers as “mujahideen” and approving of their decision to martyr themselves for the cause of radical Islam....

Exactly right. There was a Jihad promoting event at the very same place. This event was a way to say “We will not become dead or dhimmis.” “We will protect freedom of speech, a beloved right the Jihadists are taking away in city after city, campus after campus.

Islam can never go through the reformation it so desperately needs to enter the 21st Century. Or the 22nd. Or the 23rd.
Their ideology is stuck in the 7th Century, where it seems to be imprisoned.
Would the media have been overjoyed to see Pam beheaded and lots of people shot?
If every freedom loving American, Brit, Frenchman had the common sense and fortitude of Pamela Geller and love of country and would speak as she speaks and stands up to insanity and unspeakable mass murdering genocidal vermin as she does, we’d have a hell of better chance of stopping the wave of evil in its tracks. They would not be able to continue to use our government, our schools, our police, our welfare to take over our country in the name of allah. Pamela Geller should be role model. Robert Spencer, too, is a brilliant scholar, is also a role model for the fight for freedom through education and words. Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are like a cross shown in the face of Dracula. The are today’s American heroes. Playing nice has gotten no one anywhere in dealing with Islamic Jihadists. The infiltration started subtly, using the coined term “multiculturalism,” and bringing Jihad in to fit under its banner!

Here is a little history behind the problem of the muslims and their unwillingness to dialogue.
About the time the West rediscovered Aristotle's Ethics and Politics in the twelfth century, Islam had reached it's peak. The top imams at the time decided that Islam would no longer use the elements of philosophy which had been their strong suit for 500 years. So in began their decline when they rejected all that they had been able to glean from the Greek philosophers.
The West then took all that the Greek civilization had and entered into the Renaissance with rather amazing results. The West left the muslims in the dust.
So, when Pope Benedict spoke at Regensburg and got lambasted by the muslims, he was only trying to invite them back to the dialogue they dismissed in the 12th century.
To enter into dialogue in this way means to meet in a spirit of wanting to talk. This talk will reveal what each side has in common and if each side decides to continue in a good spirit then differences can be talked about with the least amount of rancor.
The Left demands that their followers surrender their collective conscience on the altar of political correctness and the mores of today (created by the lack of conscience of the current Leftists). Never mind that this once great country was built by those who had a work ethic and morals. You cannot survive today (you will be destroyed) unless you capitulate to the Left’s belief system.

The MSM is slamming Geller for sounding the rallying cry that sharia law and ISIS is on the way to attempt their takeover over the U.S. which will result in the slaughtering millions of Christians. Sure she used a controversial method to make a point but I’d damn sure rather see that than the shining blade of a scimitar against my neck later because she didn’t. The Muzzies want to criminialize free speech against Allah and Islam to take them a step further towards silencing Christians in this country. They’ve studed and know the Constitution better than most Americans. They know if they kill the 1st ammendment all others fall right behind it.
