Hillary should have done so. She would have been the first Secretary of State to have registered as a Foreign Agent.
Mostly, they don't get caught -- because the government isn't trying to catch Liberals.
If the Liberal does get caught, they just apologize, say that mistakes were made, make adjustments (i.e refile their taxes), and move on.
An ordinary working person who did any of this stuff would be bankrupt and in prison.
“-Gate” is so yesterday. How about “Donation-Ghazi?”

141 million collected and 9 million dispersed to the actual cause. I have never been able to understand that kind of human greed. Is there not even a twinge of conscience? I know also in Canada the same kind of greed exists in "non-profit charities". Though some are very circumspect, many take 85% to "administer".
When it gets to only 1% or none at all for the charity itself, the authorities then end their tax free status.
So it goes.
