Those following the Obama Immigration Executive Action legal battles will note yesterday Congressman Young was asking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Saldana the exact same point outlined in Judge Hanen’s rebuke of the White House.
So yesterday ICE Director Saldana is on Capitol Hill answering questions when Republican David Young asks Mrs. Saldana about the conflict between the law, and the rules imposed by President Obama that force border patrol agents to: a.) break the law, or b.) break Obama’s executive action rules.
How Saldana replies is, well, JAW DROPPING.

It’s unreal that things have arrived here. There seems to be no recourse of any action. Courts don’t matter. Legislative branch doesn’t seem to matter. Having the same executive ignoring laws also overseeing the department of justice seems to be the problem. Not the first time but definitely the worst instance.
Truman busted Mac Arthur’s hump and wrecked his career for actions and language not ONE TENTH as reckless and irresponsible as that.

Obama is partial to the conjunction of the two assertions.
“If I had policies or directives that were contrary to the law, I would understand if they didn’t want to follow them. I would expect them to follow the law first,” Representative Young said.Unbelievable.To that, Saldana replied, “And that’s where you and I probably have a fundamental disagreement.”
Surely one of the “policies and directives” is (or used to be) that an ICE employee is to follow the law — or else. Now, it’s don’t follow the law — or else.
In freaking believable!
Yet its crickets from the media.... Now if this happened while President Bush was in office people would be turning purple and foaming at the mouth with rage over this.
