Liberals steal a quote from an old white lady to make Maya Angelou Commemorative stamp

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has colluded with the family of the late poet Maya Angelou to steal a quote from a white eighty nine year old children’s book writer named Joan Walsh Anglund to make the new Angelou stamp look good. The whole episode is a perfect example of how liberals are different from other people.

According to reports, there was an excited gathering of “luminaries” at the stamp’s unveiling which included Michelle Obama who is the political world’s Kim Kardashian – famous for being famous without any actual accomplishments of her own.

That the stolen quote placed on the “forever” Angelou stamp, “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song,” is mumbo jumbo and not worthy of any notice is beside the point – it was stolen.

The befuddled Anglund answered, “Yes, that’s my quote,” when asked about the theft. The bozos at the USPS did an “Ahumina humina” act when they were asked about the theft and said, the Angelou family...

It had to be an improvement over the trivial trash Angelou splooged.

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song,”

We were discussing this yesterday.
1) Some idiot picked out the quote and the author of it should SUE the government for using it without her permission.
2) USPS picked someone else’s quote because they couldn’t find something suitable amongst Angelou’s work.
3) Actually, Male birds sing because they have a question. Female birds sing when want to give an answer.

Just for curiosity, I googled “Maya Angelou overrated”. One of the choices I got at the bottom of the page was “what extraordinary obstacles has Maya Angelou overcome”, LOL.

Angelou’s big hit was “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings”. Apparently either the book was devoid of quotable material or somebody figured that the other author said it better. Either way, it isn’t a compliment.

Typical Liberal logic...’Close enough is good enough’!

THAT’S how “O” got his ‘education’ and THAT’S how he ‘works’

He wrote the book on ‘flakey’

Joan Walsh Anglund writes sappy children's books with precious watercolor illustrations:

I had a bunch of them when I was a really little kid - 7 or 8 years old. Gifts from maiden aunts and grandmothers -

I can't think of anything more inappropriate or inadvertently hilarious for Angelou to steal . . .

I always toy with the idea of getting a bunch of Kwanzaaaaa stamps to use on my Christmas Cards. The wife never seems to be on board with that idea (go figure).
