10,000 armed citizens can quickly stop a few terrorist among them.

First, I don’t like cities. Not even living “near” them. But an armed population should be the first deterrent against terrorism.

We saw how SWAT Teams handled a terrorist attack in Boston. 2 terrorists and the police SWAT Teams were like the keystone cops.

Apply the military to the situation and it would be worse.

Militarization of the police is a mistake. Appearance of safety, but carries grave danger attached.

All good points - my main point (may not have been clear) was that if the police are militarized and get out of hand, those same 10,000 armed citizens have the ability to send a message.
