Liberal Professor: If You Understand Economics, You're Likely to be a Bad Person
Pundit Press ^ | 3/29/15 | Aurelius

According to Lisa Wade, a professor at Occidental College in Los Angeles, if you have an understandings of Economics, you are likely a bad person.

That was her finding in an article she published this week, titled "ARE ECONOMICS MAJORS ANTI-SOCIAL?" The first word in the piece was simply, "Yep."

Dr. Wade writes that if you have taken classes on Economics, you "are less likely to share, less generous to the needy, and more likely to cheat, lie, and steal."

She largely bases her belief on a study from 2010. In the study, students were asked if they would like to contribute money to a liberal political group or a group that is pushing for lower tuition, possibly by asking for more subsidies from taxpayers.

Students with an understanding of economics were less inclined to donate to these groups than students with other majors. And for that reason, Dr. Wade has declared that they are “anti-social.”

...Further, she says that Econ majors need to take ““balancing” classes, ones that present a different kind of economics.”

These ‘professors’, along with activist judges, should be publically shamed for their idiotic ways.

They should pay a higher price than your garden variety lefty because they harm so many.

So then, can we say that people who major in sociology, women’s studies, black studies, or other liberal arts areas, are superior due to that? What are we really saying?

"a different kind of economics"?!?!?

I guess she means the economics practiced by Venezuela.

Dr. Wade, if you are a liberal, you are less likely to share your own money, less generous to the needy if it costs you anything, and more likely to cheat, lie, and steal and with a 99% probability that you are stupid.

So...if you want to get an `A’ in her course, show up in class with your copies of Das Kapital and Quotations from Chairman Mao.

Explain to her that “Your course is necessary to understanding capitalist exploitation of downtrodden proletariat, Comrade Professor”.

She has degrees in sociology and human sexuality.

I expect she'll be running for congress soon.

Students with an understanding of economics were less inclined to donate to these [liberal] groups than students with other majors.

Seems like that's a value judgement. I prefer people who think like this.

She looks like she’s pushing maximum density in that photo and is probably one cheeseburger away from becoming obese.

Further, she says that Econ majors need to take ““balancing” classes, ones that present a different kind of economics.”

There are several schools of economic thought...I would assume an Econ class would cover the major ones at least all of the Classical economic theories...

I wonder what "a different kind of economics" would be...

Maybe Islamic economic theories, Marxian economics, feminist economics...?

I’m trying to read “Human Action” now. As Austrian economics is the only economics worth studying, I guess I am a really really really bad person according to her/it.

I'd need more than a six pack of beers to find her attractive. I'm sure that some desperate man looking for a green card might hook up with her. That's why straight women libs support immigration. Those illegals are willing to bed those woman that American men don't want to bed.
