How about mandatory thorough investigation of a presidential candidate AND disclosing the results to the voters? I was thinking along the same lines. How about mandatory disclosure of birth, tax, education, funding documents among others. What a POS!!!

Everyone must wear clean underwear. To allow easy inspection for compliance, it must be worn on the outside

The clout of millionaires and billionaires in campaign funding has been enormous, and many claim the uber wealthy have undue leverage in politics. Just like Warren Buffett and George Soros in the last election.

Incorrect. See my post about mandatory Jessica Biel!

Mandatory annual audits of the Federal Reserve!
Mandatory annual federal budgets
Mandatory compliance with campaign promises
Mandatory requirement to subject government whimsy to the discipline of Scientific Method.
Lots more mandatory stuff to bring government insanity under the control of common sense.

Mandatory term limits! And Mandatory application of all laws passed ‘for the people’ to apply to them. Mandatory no Govt pensions, other than what they might ‘earn’ under Social Security. No Secret Service protection after leaving office What was good enough for Harry and Bess is good enough, Period!

Your vote is your choice.. you can go in the booth and pick anybody.. or nobody... so to not vote is your vote for nobody.... Yeah...just go to the booth...punch a few extra chads....fold and spindle the ballot slip.

Na ..then they will “interpret” your ballot, who you intended to vote for... same with a blank ballot.. someone will “interpret” who you “intended” to vote for.. someone will.even got to court to make sure all those blank or miss-marked ballots are reviewed and counted for there “intended” vote...
And that “interpreted” vote will be...surprise surprise...LOL...For the Dem leftist....ever time...
Mandatory voting + blank / mismarked ballots = count as Dem as assumes default vote for everyone

The rest of the article:
“...So since the right to bear arms is also in our Constitution, does President Obama also want to make it mandatory that every citizen be a gun owner, or pay a fine? Or, since Australia and some other countries have mandatory voting, should we also base our gun-ownership on a foreign nations practices such as Switzerland? What else do we want to adopt since other nations do it? The reality is, Australias voting system is completely different from ours. So citing it is just bizarre, to me.
Mandatory voting would be forced speech. Not free speech. Being forced to cast a vote is just as wrong as being denied the right to vote.
