Yes; sorry, but I cannot say “beautiful” to any natural killer like that. (They aren’t, anyway.)
PBT types, Presas, etc, all bred specifically for indiscriminate fighting; if it has not been bred out of the breed (and for many it hasn’t), then they are time bombs IMO. Do not trust them. Even Cesar Millan cannot convince me (yes, I know about the lawsuit from the other day).
Shoot, shovel, shut up.

Range time
Yes and most of us are not Cesar Milan. He is an expert dog trainer and can control a dog but he also does not let his dogs run free.
We are going to be up in the mountains on our property fulltime soon and any dog that comes around after the chickens or us is going to be a dead dog.
That “comment” was not necessary.
Wow, is it pile on time around here or are there a lot of people here who are Vegans or like to eat Dog like Obama?
Well, you two figure it out. My Grandmother would kill a live Chicken to feed the Family. She didn’t touch our Dog.
Well I’ll be, was that “comment” to some dribble you posted? No. Your butt-in was not necessary.
I think I’ll keep COMMENTING on what the hell I want to COMMENT on.
If you think my contentions “You want to keep your dog, keep your dog. Dogs dont suddenly get a whim to dig out. You going to keep one penned, better bury the fence wire.”, then tell me where it is not correct.
I don't know. I know a guy had two dogs, about the same age, and a toddler. One day one of the dogs just up and attacks the toddler. The other dog defended the tyke. Attacking dog was euthanized almost immediately after.
Not a wise belief. Not at all. In fact, it assumes animals like this are quite stupid.
I appreciated Barbara Woodhouse’s training methods but not really this slogan, which is also essentially what Cesar does.
What was so terrible about it?
Most chickens are kept to supply eggs, and only occasionally get cooked - mostly roosters.
I hardly see a farmer-type person disputing the show-dog type person as a “pile-on”, but a 1-for-1 argument.
Didn’t mean to offend. I just thought the other Poster whose Dog was killed was getting slammed unnecessarily.
You’re right, none of my concern. I wasn’t aware that my Post would offend you as it obviously did.
I agree that People should keep their Dogs in their Yard and on a Leash, but the Dog did what some Dogs do by digging its way out.
I disagree with your assertion that some Dogs don’t get a “whim” to escape Captivity, but everyone is entitled to their Opinion.
I guess one man’s “dribble” is another man’s “opinion”, but I admit to not being a X-spurt on the subject...
I just thought that on a Poster who is still grieving over the Death of their Pet Dog that was killed in such a heinous manner wasn’t necessary to the discussion on this Thread.
There are at least two people here who disagree with me, so be it.
I understand your point.
I was merely defending the Poster who is obviously still Grieving over her Pet Dog which he/she considered part of the Family.
Again, I just thought the comments made toward the Poster were unnecessary.
None of my concern. By the lack of responses from the Original Poster, it appears they were not as offended as I thought they would be.
Moving on to the Brian Williams and Bruce Jenner Threads.
No offense taken. Thought I was being called on the carpet for thumpin Lil Johnny’s ear.
Having lived in the country for more than 50+ years, I have never penned a dog and have had plenty. Mine know what’s theirs and if they go visiting they behave. Dogs are a lot like kids, you raise em right and they know how to behave, in private and in public.
Have had one or two that showed their arse or just had undue aggression issues, they got to go see their maker early.
Dogs get shot when messing with livestock.
Lost a dog many years ago who wouldn’t stay on property and messed with neighbors livestock. Lost a second after the police visited about the havoc he was causing. The old walk behind the barn and bullet treatment.
Just a side observation: People are getting a skewed view of dogs these days by watching too many cute youtube dog and cat videos.
When I grew up, dogs chased and killed cats and chickens and any other animal smaller than themselves. We thought that was the natural order of things.
