She will find a very friendly audience there as Midland is bastion of conservatism and free enterprise. And, if any protesters should be foolish enough to show up they won’t be tolerated for very long.

After saying it, she will gently remind potential detractors where to look up the source, then give us that sly little smile and a wink.

I can’t imagine that a protester would stand much of a chance here, for sure.
They tried it with Ted Nugent and it was a bust. LOL! I’m not a big fan but was glad the venue didn’t cave to their demands to cancel his show.

The other day I turned on a TV and saw a bunch of Explosions, M1 Garands Firing and Hollering, at first I thought I had caught a Band of Brothers episode, but then I realized it was Ted Nugent's House (Zing!)

Sarah Palin made a great Iowa speech, witty and very well received.
And she would make a great President.
She is not, however, a bean counter or administrator and I think she would find those jobs to not fit her character, independence and vigor.
She is a leader, who inspires others both by her words and by her example.
The trip to the University of Texas of the Permian Basin to see and hear Sarah Palin would be the event of a lifetime.

That said, her recent Iowa speech was not her best. It was as good as any of the other speeches, it just wasn't a campaign speech.

I probably wouldn’t get close enough to meet her. It’s a very large auditorium.
But I’d just love to be there. Wish I had someone to go with. I hate doing stuff alone!
