Politely inform the criminals who have entered our country illegally and are working (or committing crimes) here illegally that Border Patrol and local police will be looking for them, and that they will be deported if caught. Add the detail that those deported will be fingerprinted and DNA swabbed, for identification if they return illegally or apply for legal entry, and that anyone here illegally who is deported will be barred from any path to legal reentry or to citizenship.
Then politely ask them to leave.
It is Jeb's defining moment.

JB is an open-border, pro-Mexican-person as he and his family have ALWAYS been. The priority is to CLOSE the border FIRST...then give illegals every incentive to leave or become citizens LEGALLY as many have.
This whole thing is such a tragedy for the REAL American people.
We can also handle murderers by politely asking them to stop murdering.
And we can issue a polite request to bank robbers to kindly desist from robbing any more banks.
It's a concept that can really scale up well, as you can imagine.
Time to check that gene pool for signs of inbreeding!

We actually could easily control the border with the manpower we already have in place. We just need to eliminate the opportunity to work and thrive as an illegal. Until we fix the employment opportunity issue it won’t matter how much manpower we put on the border. We currently catch people and then let them go because they either claim citizenship in a non-adjacent nation or refuse to say what country they are from. “Here’s your court date, off you go.”
Pretty much sums up Bush, eh?
