Manson, Mohammed, and the Innocence of Non-Muslims

I like to refer to Islam as equivalent to the Manson Family on a global scale. Just how accurate is that? Let’s take a look.

Ali Sina is a renowned ex-Muslim author, and founder of FaithFreedom.org. He writes,

“I see Muhammed as a psychopath and Allah was nothing but his own alter-ego. He invented this bugaboo deity to fool people and ride them. Allah is no god and even if he was, Muhammed did not receive any revelations from him. Muhammed was a deranged man. He concocted this whole lie to fool people. He was no different than Jim Jones, David Koresh or Charles Manson. Mohammed was a ruthless man – a false prophet. He made people hate each other. He divided them so he could conquer them.” As for Charles Manson, his cult was ultimately oriented around “Helter Skelter” — Manson’s hallucinogenic-fueled vision of an apocalyptic race war, driven by messages he found in both the Beatles’ music and in the Biblical book of Revelation, in which blacks, and especially black Muslims, would ultimately kill off virtually all whites except for the Manson Family, who would then rise up from hiding to rule over the remaining black population. The Manson Family’s murder spree was intended to trigger “Helter Skelter.”

The only real difference I find between Manson and Mohammed is that the Manson Family was stopped in time, after their several early murders, and before Manson really got his movement going very widely, whereas Mohammed got his movement going much more widely(acting with minimum or non-aggression at first) before growing more powerful and really starting to rampage and murder people in order to terrorize, subjugate, and bring even more under Islam’s brutal reign by force.

Unfortunately, Mohammed was obviously not stopped in time, and Islam’s influence has grown over the centuries to where it now counts over a billion adherents on this planet. It’s plain to honest observers that only the small percentage on the leading edge of Islam’s march are the actively violent ones, while the hundreds of millions of their rear-echelon support staff and families act mainly as spiritual, financial, and logistical support — or, are merely dragged along, in the cultural sense.

Manson was stopped also because of the advanced civilization in which he preached his psychotic visions and commanded his murderous followers — a comparatively technologically-developed society which, even in the California of fourty-five years ago, had a unified, highly sophisticated, constitutional system of jurisprudence and law enforcement, with telephone networks, highways, cars, and early police computer databases.

Mohammed’s 7th-century Arabian milieu was, of course, quite primitive and tribal, lending itself that much more to the rapid spread of a dangerous totalitarian quasi-religious cult based on a delusional, megalomaniac personality, who bided his time until his numbers were sufficient to “strike terror into the hearts(Qur’an 8:60)” of his opponents.

Mohammed’s Jim Jones-like early influence and maniacal rantings were strongly opposed, at first, by powerful members of the Quraysh tribe from which he and his family originated, however he was able to eventually prevail against his opponents in numerous fierce, bloody battles, destroying any and all who stood in his way, resulting in complete regional domination by his new cult, Islam.

Both Manson and Mohammed started out as charismatic spiritual gurus who captured the imaginations and abject loyalties of some of their respective societies’ members, with their new, dark, self-invented twists on pre-existing cultural and religious elements.

Manson started preaching and attracting followers in the Haight-Ashbury hippie haven of San Francisco during the “Summer of Love” period in the late 1960s. His message and philosophy was a mixture of science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard’s own invented cult-religion, Scientology, and of the dual Christ/Satan-worship found in the burgeoning “Process Church of the Final Judgement”(a shunned splinter group from Scientology) of that time.

Mohammed, on the other hand, after marrying a well-off merchant dowager 15 years his senior, went on a meditative sojourn into a cave, from whence he emerged claiming to have been visited by the archangel Gabriel, and alleged to have received revelations that he was to bethe prophet of Allah. Prior to this, Allah had been regarded as one of many gods(albeit one of the highest gods) in the pagan worship practices of the Arabian tribes.

Mohammed began insisting that he had been chosen to whip everyone, including those from the Abrahamic faiths of Judaism and Christianity(called the “people of the book” by Muslims), into shape under the totalitarian rule and iron hand of his new religion, which he called Islam, on behalf of his Allah.

So here we are, so many hundreds of years later. Mohammed’s savage warlord legacy of murder and mayhem continues on, helped along with stubborn interference(against those of us who would stomp out terrorism for good) on its behalf by countless fools and knaves such as George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and assorted other multiculturalist dhimmis and stealth agents in high places who falsely insist that Islam, true Islam, is peaceful. Of course it is not.

Along with the physical evidence of constant Islamic aggression and brutality, additional proof is found in Islam’s documents, the Koran, Hadith, and Sira, which are rife with passages commanding Muslims to terrorize, subjugate, and slaughter non-Muslims.

There is one passage, though, to which many of the aforementioned dhimmis and deliberate deceivers like to adamantly point when describing Islam as peaceful. Yet even that imaginary scripture is used to distort and deceive — because those quoting it never actually give you the complete, actual version from the Koran.

The version they give you, which does not even exist in any translation of the Koran, goes like this:

“If anyone slays a person, it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.” (by the way, those words happen to be lifted directly from a preexisting Jewish text — Mishnah, IV division 5)

Again, that passage cannot be found in any copy of the Koran anywhere. Often, those promoting it insert “innocent” in front of “person” — which only makes debunking it easier, because the trick lies in just who Islam deems innocent! As for that, take a wild guess. You got it! According to Islam, only Muslims can be innocent.

“On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person – unless it be for retaliation for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew all mankind: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all humanity.” Notice that here is proscribed conduct not for Muslims, but for “the Children of Israel,” and that according to Islam, “spreading mischief in the land” can mean anything that is not deemed completely in obedience to Allah, including merely being non-Muslim!

Oh, and the very next verse, Qur’an 5:33, is conveniently omitted by Obama when he deploys his taqiyya on us:

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;”

There are many authoritative sources which support exactly what I have said above. Just a couple of them are here, and here.

In the aftermath of the Sept. 11th, 2012 terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and their cronies all falsely blamed an obscure movie on YouTube titled “The Innocence of Muslims” for supposedly provoking ragheads’ murderous outrage which took the lives of our ambassador, 3 other Americans, and numerous other victims around the globe in further rampages.

Despite the cynical lies of Obama and his administration, saying the filmmaker was the culprit and then having him arrested and jailed, I decided to watch some of that video. I didn’t get very far into it before I gave up on trying to figure out the reason for its title.

As for the ongoing clash of civilizations(not really an appropriate phrase, because Islam cannot accurately be called civilization) between Islam and everyone else, I say non-Muslims are the innocent ones.

I never mentioned Islam or Mormonism..

I was comparing Joseph Smith to Mohammad..

He wasn’t mentioned by the author..

Smith was the one who said he wanted to be like Mohammad..

and he was..in many ways..

“I Will Be a Second Mohammed”

In the heat of the Missouri “Mormon War” of 1838, Joseph Smith made the following claim, “I will be to this generation a second Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was ‘the Alcoran [Koran] or the Sword.’ So shall it eventually be with us—‘Joseph Smith or the Sword!’ ”[1]

It is most interesting that a self-proclaimed Christian prophet would liken himself to Mohammed, the founder of Islam. His own comparison invites us to take a closer look as well. And when we do, we find some striking—and troubling—parallels. Consider the following.

•Mohammed and Joseph Smith both had humble beginnings. Neither had formal religious connections or upbringing, and both were relatively uneducated. Both founded new religions by creating their own scriptures. In fact, followers of both prophets claim these scriptures are miracles since their authors were the most simple and uneducated of men.[2]

•Both prophets claim of having angel visitations, and of receiving divine revelation to restore pure religion to the earth again. Mohammed was told that both Jews and Christians had long since corrupted their scriptures and religion. In like manner, Joseph Smith was told that all of Christianity had become corrupt, and that consequently the Bible itself was no longer reliable. In both cases, this corruption required a complete restoration of both scripture and religion. Nothing which preceded either prophet could be relied upon any longer.

Both prophets claim they were used of God to restore eternal truths which once existed on earth, but had been lost due to human corruption.

•Both prophets created new scripture which borrowed heavily from the Bible, but with a substantially new “spin.” In his Koran, Mohammed appropriates a number of Biblical themes and characters—but he changes the complete sense of many passages, claiming to “correct” the Bible. In so doing he changes many doctrines, introducing his own in their place. In like manner, Joseph Smith created the Book of Mormon, much of which is plagiarized directly from the King James Bible. Interestingly, the Book of Mormon claims that this same Bible has been substantially corrupted and is therefore unreliable. In addition, Joseph Smith went so far as to actually create his own version of the Bible itself, the “Inspired Version,” in which he both adds and deletes significant portions of text, claiming he is “correcting” it. In so doing he also changes many doctrines, introducing his own in their place.

•As a part of their new scriptural “spin,” both prophets saw themselves as prophesied in scripture, and both saw themselves as a continuation of a long line of Biblical prophets. Mohammed saw himself as a continuation of the ministry of Moses and Jesus. Joseph Smith saw himself as a successor to Enoch, Melchizedek, Joseph and Moses. Joseph Smith actually wrote himself into his own version of the Bible—by name.

•Both prophets held up their own scripture as superior to the Bible. Mohammed claimed that the Koran was a perfect copy of the original which was in heaven. The Koran is therefore held to be absolutely perfect, far superior to the Bible and superceding it. In like manner, Joseph Smith also made the following claim. “I told the Brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding its precepts, than by any other book.”[3]

•Despite their claim that the Bible was corrupt, both prophets admonished their followers to adhere to its teachings. An obvious contradiction, this led to selective acceptance of some portions and wholesale rejection of others. As a result, the Bible is accepted by both groups of followers only to the extent that it agrees with their prophet’s own superior revelation.

•Both Mohammed and Joseph Smith taught that true salvation was to be found only in their respective religions. Those who would not accept their message were considered “infidels,” pagans or Gentiles. In so doing, both prophets became the enemy of genuine Christianity, and have led many people away from the Christ of the Bible.

•Both prophets encountered fierce opposition to their new religions and had to flee from town to town because of threats on their lives. Both retaliated to this opposition by forming their own militias. Both ultimately set up their own towns as model societies.

•Both Mohammed and Joseph Smith left unclear instructions about their successors. The majority of Mohammed’s followers, Sunni Muslims, believe they were to elect their new leader, whereas the minority, Shiite Muslims, believe Mohammed’s son was to be their next leader. Similarly, the majority of Joseph Smith’s followers, Mormons, believed their next prophet should have been the existing leader of their quorum of twelve apostles, whereas the minority, RLDS, believed Joseph Smith’s own son should have been their next prophet. Differences on this issue, and many others, have created substantial tension between these rival groups of each prophet.

•Mohammed taught that Jesus was just another of a long line of human prophets, of which he was the last. He taught that he was superior to Christ and superceded Him. In comparison, Joseph Smith also made the following claim.

“I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.”[4]

In light of these parallels, perhaps Joseph Smith’s claim to be a second Mohammed unwittingly became his most genuine prophecy of all.
