Adding to their undercurrent of anger is the way that American Sniper upstaged Selma at the box office and at the Academy Award nominations. Selma is a mediocre movie, but it was meant to be a platform for the usual conversation that progressives want to have about how terrible Americans are.
Well that was quite a fail in that respect. Though one good thing about Selma, judging by the trailers, they used some cool late 50's-early 60's cars in that flick. But then again for the price of admission, I could put my ride in a local car show and see the same thing, knowing that my $$$ usually goes to a local charity or other much more worthwhile cause.

There is another and vital bit of information delivered in SELMA. LBJ was a racist. His War on Poverty was a hostile reaction to the Republican Civil Rights legislation he was obliged to sign. His claim that his new welfare program would enslave the blacks and tie them to the dems for 100 years was prophetic.
This is a devastating portrayal of the left. It puts the lie to everything they have tried to achieve this past 50 years. Perhaps we can trim a few years off the century LBJ claimed. Certainly Obama has been an absolute catastrophe. The left is dying. A strong Constitutionalist president and government will turn this country around. The Miracle of America is real. We will see it in our lifetime.
