It's not about being a good person because racism makes you feel bad.
At a recent Black Lives Matter rally, I saw a middle-aged woman come nervously to the microphone. She began to speak about her white privilege. While she chided herself for past wrongs and oversights, she said next to nothing about the events that called the rally forth: the police killings of innocent black women and men, and the failure of the justice system to hold the killers accountable.
Perhaps she didn't address these issues because she feared that in doing so, she would come across as a racist, say the wrong thing, or put something the wrong way. Perhaps the mostly black audience would view her as attempting to co-opt their protest.
It's a crucial first step that white people recognize white privilege, but that alone isn't enough. What's more, luxuriating in our own suffering doesn't engender social change. Here's a stale paradox: self-flagellating about white privilege is an expression of white privilege.
Yet no amount of flagellation, nor even critical awareness, can divest white people of our privilege. It is something we are given, every day and on a repeated basis, without asking for it. It is imposed, even if we don't want it. The officer gives us a warning, instead of a ticket. We beat out a better qualified person of color for the job, but we're kept ignorant of what happened. When we go clothes shopping, no one follows us through every store.
The way to end white privilege is to challenge the institutions that render its bestowal compulsory, such as the police, the legal system, the prison, and the law.

It's going to be interesting to watch a 13% minority try to pull that off against a huge majority, even with Quislings like this guy implanted everywhere in the media and universities. They will find that the support they expect from the rest of the progressive coalition will fail to materialize - black activists don't seem to understand they are tools, not prime movers.
The resulting public backlash is likely to leave Black America mired in an even deeper social/financial quagmire for the next hundred years - and more segregated than they ever were in the Fifties. Great news for the race profiteers, not so great for society as a whole.
Absolutely! Use your position of power and privilege to fight Black Bigotry and restore true equality to our system.

There, fixed it. Somehow, this discrimination and repairing the discrimination never, ever, ever applies to the liberals themselves. It's always other people who have to pay, so that liberals can feel good about "fighting racism". I don't see, Brian Williams, Scott Pelley, Schmuckie Shumer, Harry Reid or anyone else on the liberal bandwagon ever offer to get off and give their job to a deserving black. [Can't say deserving anymore, it's racist and classist] Have you seen it?
The true racists are the black undertow who hate whites. Sure, there are white racists too, but didn’t Jesse Jackass always whine that only “those with the power” can be racists? Who has the power now in Black-run America?
“White Privilege” is nothing more than a conjured up excuse for black dysfunction and failure.
BTW, I’m not a racist, I’m a race realist.
I’ve sold to Blacks, I’ve been hired by Blacks, I’ve worked for and with Blacks. A middle class Black American in attitude, dress and drive can write their own tick in America today. There is such a demand for Blacks on the success track and sadly there are far too few. There are far too many ghetto, hip-hop blacks, where all the crime and violence among Black Americans come from. This soft bigotry of low expectations is destroying these Blacks. It is sick and evil what the Democrats, Sharpton, Jackson and all their lampreys trolling alongside have done to Black Americans.
