You are punished because the rates you pay have to compensate for the reductions others get. The earned income tax credit and the child deductions are paid for by raising rates on those who do not get them.

On both counts they are still “free” (from taxation and indoctrination); Dems believe those children belong to them, and can’t stand watching anything else unfold.

The indoctrination fails anyway, because instead of ending up with a well-programmed robot/drone they end up with young people who learned nothing at all. I’m pleasantly surprised that the young people my children associate still seem to have many of the views prevalent thirty years ago on many of the issues targeted by our overlords for revision.

He could have posted from the source and mentioned whatever he "sniffed" as a comment.

That's my point. The article doesn't mention what Obama's real agenda is on taxes. The blogger simply referenced the source, that Obama's proposing tax credits, but he did detective work and found out what the real agenda is.

Possibly.

None of that, however, is any reason for his blog to be in the loop.

This is a basic political ploy. He knows it will not pass, but he pressures the republicans to respond. The media will play up the usual rich versus poor angle.
And of course more freebees always draws a crowd.

This isn't so much about changing behavior as it is getting more people out of paying taxes. I make $100k a year with a stay at home wife and our three kids. With the mortgage interest tax deduction and three tax credits, I don't pay that much in taxes. If they even doubled the child tax credit I would pay an exceptionally low amount in federal taxes.

It is vitally important for everybody with earnings to pay something in federal taxes. Not for the revenue, but because people that pay taxes don't like federal spending. People that don't pay taxes like federal spending and vote for people like Obama.

This is why the Bush tax cuts were a good idea, done poorly. Lowering the low end marginal rates took many people off the tax rolls completely. That encourages support of government spending. The same is true of expanding Medicaid for the ACA.

Liberals can’t conceive of mothers staying home with their children. In liberal theology, women need to work full time, regardless of their family situations.

This policy reflects.libersl theology. Liberals believe women parents need to squeeze in family and children around the demands of a professional career, rather than fitting in jobs around the needs of your family.

I’m retired. I make a bit more than you per year. I don’t have a problem with a reasonable tax but when I see the number of people who pay zero in taxes driving a Mercedes (which I don’t have), wearing diamonds (which I don’t have), and eating high end steaks, lobsters and crab (which I don’t), THEN I have a problem.

Obama's agenda helps two income families enroll their infants in day care instead of raising them at home while he's got a plan to keep "students" in public school for grades 13 and 14.

He's just trying to funnel more taxpayer dough to his peeps. They don't just enroll their kids in day care. They just take turns babysitting each others soon to be thugs. That's the so-called job they're doing.

It is also about giving up their children at a young age to be indoctrinated against their parents and for big government

Because then same-sex partners would be out $500 ...

The proposal as I read it says nothing about having children, just having two working partners.

For my income, I don't pay taxes at a rate to support this level of government, but why give a heroin addict an extra dime bag to support their habit.

There isn't some secret mix of market forces that are destroying the middle class, it is the government. Between medical and housing the federal government has made every decision possible to make these more expensive. Despite the bubble popping, housing is way too expensive because a bunch of do-gooders in Congress decided to help people qualify for mortgages they had no ability to repay. The push for that is starting all over again.

public school for grades 13 and 14

Of course his own daughters will not end up going to community college, just as they have never set foot in a public school, even when they were living in chicago.

Both of your points are true - especially the second one. That also explains why Obama is paying public schools to serve dinner to children.

Single moms would get the child care tax credit, but not the “second earner” tax credit.
