Will the Senate threaten the 2nd Amendment?
Coach is Right ^ | 12/21/14 | Doug Book

The United Nations Arms Trade Treaty goes into effect on December 24th. Through that date, Coach is Right will provide background and current information concerning the dangers this treaty poses to the American people and their freedom.

President Obama has been re-elected since this piece was written and Republicans secured a massive, midterm victory in 2014. The midterm results should guarantee an incoming Senate that would not ratify the Arms Trade Treaty. But conservative voters were certainly betrayed by the vote of the Republican House on the Omnibus Spending Bill a few days ago.

As New York City plays host to a conference which will shape the UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) into final form, most 2nd Amendment supporters are concerned that stealth language or overly broad applications woven into the document will serve to separate Americans from their right to keep and bear arms. After all, why else would preliminary versions of the Treaty be so difficult to obtain and U.N., pre-conference position statements remain consistently absent from the internet?

Barack Hussein Obama leads the most anti-gun rights Administration in the nation’s history. Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano and recently appointed, ATF Acting Director B. Todd Jones have spoken often and passionately about the importance of implementing more restrictive gun control legislation.

But the gun-grabbing Regime will not be able to ratify the UN’s global gun control measure without first securing a 2/3rds majority of senators to vote in favor. And it won’t be easy to convince 67 politicians to sign onto a document which countless critics have spent nearly a decade rightly representing as a worldwide assault on the 2nd Amendment. Especially not as the American public...

When the Republicans betray the country too, to whom do we turn??? A third party candidate will just assure a Dem win in 2016.

a) In regards to Executive Overreach with Amnesty, Republicans have rolled over like supine catamites to 0bama.

b) In regards to Cuba, Obama has, like Teddy Roosevelt, completely ignored the Treaties Clause in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Given "a" and "b", I see that 0bama is empowered to act as an unchecked dictator by an emasculated Legislative Branch and a Judical Branch stacked full of One World Statists.

The UN Arms treaty will breeze right through.

Maybe you should take your meds, and mind your own business, a persons vote is their own last time I looked.

When the Republicans betray the country too, to whom do we turn???

Here's a clue. You don't keep re-electing folks who don't represent your viewpoint. You turn to someone (something) else. If that happens to be a third party.....then support them. Don't continue to "wish" the republicans will finally see it your way. That's insanity.... (doing the same thing over and over....expecting different results).

If that third party loses because of little support then come to the realization that "you" are simply a minority in the spectrum of political thought.

There will be people that will tell you that electing the lessor of two evils is O.K. I will tell you that....evil is still evil.

The Senate is not the threat here, but rather Obama and Holder unilaterally using the treaty to enforce gun laws, and possibly having leftist judges putting international law above the Constitution.

It would not surprise me a bit if the Republicans do it to us big time after they “take control.” Most of them are acting as agents of the Democrat Party. The newbies learned what it is all about when they arrived in Washington or perhaps in the days right after the election. Most will go along and will get along. They know who the rulers are. We passed the tipping point way back in 1913 and the long gentle slop came to the cliff edge in 2007-8. Some who are young adults now will hear from their children in a few years,”Why didn’t you leave when you still could?” but then where would anyone go? America was the last place to go. Other places will survive in some semblance of freedom relative to America for a time but once America is gone the other dominoes must also fall unless the resulting collapse severs much of the communication links that are ubiquitous now and some lands fall out of notice and out of range of the desolated power of the former great nations.

If they do, all bets are off, and the citizens of the US will arm themselves to the teeth. The US Constitution is the law of the land, not UN treatises or decrees.

If congress wants to challenge that fact, they’ll face a literal shitstorm of blowback.

The Senate and the House are the threat because they will go along with anything the Sultan has a mind to do. They have exchanged the Legislative Power and Responsibility for the status of Privy Council to the Sultan.

On this and many other issues, I firmly believe the citizenry is on the brink of massive non-compliance.
