Some have, that is true.
The Army is huge. You’re always going to have a few malcontents. Fortunately, an NCO will see this picture and help straighten out her attitude.
PFC- one would imagine she hadn’t been in all that long.
Which forces me to raise the question
“How would one ENLIST in the Army with the thought she would not be partaking in some of the ‘oldest customs’.
Almost the prevailing attitude of a people who collectively risk their lives walking/hiking etc thousands of ‘dangerous’ miles and arrive at their destination, alive and well (granted not really through anything WE may have done) but upon arrival at the final destination just take a whiz on their new country and refuse to partake in its activities.
THEN these dumbies post it where the world can see it.
I used to think all these gadgets were basically stupid but it sure is helping to really pinpoint the idiots so it makes it easier to cull the herd.
Guess in certain circumstances where abortion is NOT getting too its target audience, another portion of them just do stupid things to keep themselves in the spotlight AND making all ‘us’ anti-a types thinking that if used in the proper way, it could be useful — Like M. Sanger was thinking all along or it was reported that was her goal.
Maybe as a start we can give away MORE free phones and create more ‘social network’ so more idiots can ‘out themselves’ and possible do a slight shift on thoughts of abortion??.
Maybe a good plan, after all.

ohhh - it was bigger than that. Entire chain of command ate that one for a long time. What is sad is that it took them months to get rid of this dirtbag. Needless to say, she wasn’t exactly Audie Murphy material to begin with.
When I served in the Navy (’61 to ‘64) and attention to colors (flag raising/lowering) was played over the 1MC (ship’s loudspeaker system) you’d frequently see sailors on the weather decks (outdoors) dive into a compartment door to avoid the minute or so of standing at attention, facing aft and saluting as the colors were raised/lowered.
This is simply a teenage girl (probably) doing a little rebelling and trying to get some attention by posting a selfie on the internet. Yes, young women seem to do that kind of thing. Amazing isn't it? I don't see anything all that shocking with this Soldier's instagram pic.
There are senior NCOs and officers that I have seen rush back indoors or wait indoors until Retreat is played.
And there's no Natl Anthem played at 1700. Don't know where the article got that info. from.

Yes, it was posted at least a year ago.
This happened in February of this year...apparently she got NJP (non-Judicial punishment) probably an Article 15, but I can’t find anything that indicates what the details are.
As a serving Sergeant Major, I will say that whether or not you were able to find the details, she was taken care of.
Of that I have no doubt. ;^)
At the least, a lot of extra duties suddenly found their way to the little troll and I’m betting Performance Report ratings were low and possibly denial of re-enlistment.
