Take Your Pick of Lies About Ozone, Methane or Mercury

EPA is trying to remove the tiniest amounts of mercury in the environment, Congress passed a law eliminate the incandescent light bulb and required their replacement by fluorescent lights that contain mercury

Is it surprising that the Environmental Protection Agency continues to tell big fat lies about anything it wants to ban, but is reluctant to show the “science” on which the bans are based?

There is currently a piece of legislation under consideration by Congress, the Secret Science Reform Act, to force the EPA to disclose its scientific and technical information before proposing or finalizing any regulation.

This is what Nicolas Loris of The Heritage Foundation had to say regarding the mercury air and toxics rule that the EPA claims would produce $53 billion to $140 billion in annual health and environmental benefits. “The two studies that represent the scientific foundation for 1997 ozone and PM2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standards are highly questionable and the data concealed, even though the studies were paid for by federal taxpayers and thus should be public property.”

“EPA is trying to remove the tiniest amounts of mercury in the environment”

mercury is the most toxic non radioactive material on the planet.
but of course, its ok when its in your mouth.

Whoops, I thought the fluorescent light bulbs they force us to buy have Mercury in them?

and we are to use special care disposing of them?

Have always been tempted to drive by at night to my local government environmental office and pop them against their front door.....

Ironic the greenies are so concerned about infinitesimal amounts of mercury in the air, yet would fill our homes with CFL bulbs that if one would break would expose us to levels of mercury that are truly hazardous.

They can’t show the “science” because there isn’t any. This all began with COMPUTER MODELS in the UK. They never had actual stats .. just computer models in “what might happen”. People seem to forget that the weather services can’t predict weather accurately for more than about a week in advance. So .. how on earth can they “predict” a weather pattern for hundreds of years ..????

It’s all been exposed as a FRAUD. But, that doesn’t seem to stop the left in their attempt to hijack American finances to pay for their stupid schemes. And .. as we have found out, people like Gruber continually believe WE’RE TOO STUPID TO KNOW ANYTHING.

A great book, “Red Hot Lies” by Christopher Horner, is the best reference I have found to show exactly what these fraudsters are up to and how they plan to bilk the public out of more and more of our hard earned dollars in order to finance this HOAX.

Let’s don’t be ignorant of the truth. This is going to be one of the “coldest” winters in quite a few years .. which is commonly known as a normal cycle of weather. With this cold weather, the artic ice is larger in size and deeper into the water than in the most recent years. It probably helps to keep the water cooler during the warmer years.

This is all occurring because the SUN’s orbit moves closer and further away from Earth, causing the normal changes in weather cycles. If the SUN didn’t do this, our planet would not be able to survive.

Personally, when I attended high school in upstate New York, the winter of 53-54, we had snow like I had never seen before. I had to walk to school in waist-deep snow .. because they didn’t open the “in town” streets for cars. I had to take a complete change of clothes with me and change when I got to school. If I was lucky, I would be able to get a ride home from school.

It doesn’t snow like that every year .. it just does it for a few years .. allowing the Earth to drink in lots of water to sustain it during the years when there is less snow.

Why do we play this game of fighting regulations one by one, year after year. Slay the “regulator”, return the country to a time when decisions were made by those that can be held accountable personally as well as professionally. The entire bureaucratic system is set up so that we need to be in a constant state of hate against one party or the other. In short, the EPA should not exist in a free country. Neither should the FDA, or dozens of other agencies. Those we elect should be so constrained by the Constitution, that it really doesn’t matter what member of what party is elected. They really would not be able to do much harm to the country. Instead we are fighting multiple “brush fires” simultaneously against both our political “enemies” and friends.

Er .. what is the excuse you choose to give me ..??

This will include of course your years and years of scientific study on the subject .. no doubt.

No - the sun does not orbit the earth but rather the other way round. Settled science you know!

“settled science”

So, it’s the earth that orbits the SUN .. I must have missed that class.

But, either way .. the principle of those orbits shows that the closer the earth gets to the SUN, the hotter our weather is; and the further the earth gets from the SUN, the colder it is.

Besides, other planets in the solar system prove the point. Mars is very far from the SUN and is barren and icy cold.

Other planets are closer to the SUN, so close they are nearly like molten lava.

PROVING MY POINT.

A student dropped a mercury thermometer on a residential street. The street was CLOSED for two or three DAYS while guys in moon suits cleaned up the few grams of Hg. On the surface it makes no sense, but consider...

Four moon suits plus four workers at $10 per hour & you can bill the taxpayers at $100 per man per hour - somebody’s cleaning up thanks to nonsense science.

Ozone is an after-effect of our atmosphere diffusing incoming radiation from space. always has, always will.

Methane is released by many volcanoes, and is the stuff in the waters of Yellowstone. always has, always will.

Mercury, or, quicksilver as it was once named, is a natural element, produced from volcanic processes, always has, always will.

Two of the three are known-back-to-the-Classic-Age-toxins, which is before the birth of America, and these darn fool idiots.

For 30 years, Asbestos has been the slush fund Libs use to push their agenda.
This was the original reason for Global Warming tax.
They are looking for another slush fund
