Ezra Klein says there is one moment in particular in Officer Wilson's account that doesn't ring true.

Even though all the witnesses were black and backed up Wilson’s story.
Perhaps it didn't fit Klein's experience? His lawyer/valet/driver/aide would have been carrying the goods to begin with, leaving Klein unencumbered.
Probably has no concept of doing things for himself, so he can't relate to St. Swisher needing to hand over his recent spoils to deal with the cracker cop trying to chill his buzz.

Assuming Ezra Klein is not stupid (it’s hard to believe, but bear with me), then you have to assume that he didn’t read the Grand Jury testimony of Brown’s buddy who stated that Brown DID hand him the cigarillos.
I’m not a journalist but I would assume that journalists try to get the facts before they start typing.
It seems to me that he simply glommed onto a single phrase and ran with it. He had no interest in looking any further because he has a story line that he believes which is based on his near-religious faith in progressive dogma.
That makes it a religion, not a political ideology. Back to another opiate for Marx's masses.

I’ve been reading stories about confrontations/disputes between whites and blacks by white liberals for decades. In a white liberal’s mind, the white person is always judged guilty of being the guilty party. It is a cardinal rule of white lib journalists that the black party is always innocent. Klein would rather believe the versions offered by a black punk than a white police officer. Which makes him a moron.
