Irrelevant Fossil John McCain Renews Offensive on Annoyingly-Principled Wacko Birds
Reaganite Republican ^ | 21 November 2014 | Reaganite Republican

Posted on 11/21/2014 5:16:32 AM PST by Reaganite Republican

Instead of his first reaction to Obama's lawless diktats being immediate/automatic resistance, John McCain -like a cowardly father who never stands-up to anyone, then bullies his own family- couldn't turn his guns on the Tea Party, Cruzite GOP base fast-enough... what an %$#@*&:
WaPo- Amid the chatter over strategy, it is the tone of outraged rank-and-file members that most worries GOP elders.
Ahead of the 2016 presidential election, they do not want to see Republicans tagged by Democrats as hostile toward Latinos and other minorities.

“It only takes a couple” of comments for an unflattering narrative to build about the Republican response, said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
“That’s the trouble with having some of these new, young punks around here.
They ought to listen to us old geezers.”

So while his advice might be akin to 'lay back and learn to enjoy it',
I would suggest that the ossified Arizona Senator 'Lead, follow...
or get out of the way':
surrendering or compromise isn't leading, sir-
not in this time of genuine constitutional crisis.

Some people do get it... so step-aside and drop the lectures, 'Maverick'.

Less than a month after their epic repudiation at the polls the GOP establishment tools and leftwing kooks are as loud and proud as ever.

Some days, it’s hard to tell the democrats from the republicans.

We need to start now in supporting Schweikart’s run against this old turd in 2016. If we can get him funded enough and known statewide, McCain will bow out early. Enough of this senile fossil.

Can’t say I agree with the way he said it, but he does have something of a point here. Rather than everyone firing off the first thing that comes to mind, they ought to be working together on message discipline.

Remember, it takes only one GOP member saying something stupid for the whole party to branded with it. (Conversely, anything stupid a Dem says, if it’s even noticed, applies only to the individual. Convenient, no?)

enough of this senile fossil

I despise his family even more than I despise him. He should be locked up in a nursing facility, far away from where he can continue to do harm to the nation. Their lust to maintain power is beyond comprehension....how else can them not putting him away be explained?

Sounds like age & privilege have made Sen McCain a coward.

When you're more worried about an 'unflattering narrative' than your nation's future its definitely time to step down.

They both consistently attack the Tea party patriots.

Frankly, if they turn a blind eye to a precedent setting, blatantly unconstitutional power grab out of the white house in the name of short term political expediency, I don't care if the GOP wins an election ever again. It would prove they are utterly useless. Well GOP, ball's in your court.

the only righteous thing they do is supply beer...

A whole lot of it to invaders, and with cheap labor which the invasion enables. Real sleazeballs; ancient Rome has nothing on them.

Like Thad Cochran and Mississippi, McCain gets democrats to crossover and vote for him in the primaries to stop any serious challengers.

Arizona needs to fix their primary rules but that is up to the national GOP body who are comprised of RINO members.
