Sessions: Obama Now ‘Emperor of the United States’
The Weekly Standard ^ | 11-19-14 | DANIEL HALPER

Posted on 11/20/2014 9:47:49 AM PST by INVAR

Senator Jeff Sessions calls Barack Obama an "Emperor of the United States" now that the president is going ahead with executive amnesty.

"President Obama previously said he could not issue an executive amnesty because ‘I’m the President of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.’ Well, apparently we now have an ‘Emperor of the United States,’" Sessions writes in a statement.

"President Obama’s immigration order would provide illegal immigrants with the exact benefits Congress has repeatedly rejected: Social Security numbers, photo IDs and work permits—which will allow them to now take jobs directly from struggling Americans in every occupation. Congress must not allow this unconstitutional action. That means Congress should fund the government while ensuring that no funds can be spent on this unlawful purpose.”

You did not understand what I wrote. Not at all.

All civil measures attempted to stop the tyranny of the Crown upon the Colonies were moot. Every attempt only INCREASED the tyranny being imposed.

Our liberty REQUIRED arms and UNCIVIL measures to defeat an entrenched tyrant and his Parliament.

Likewise, civil measures attempted to restrain this Emperor and the Oligarchy in D.C. will only exacerbate further injury.

A lawless regime that has decreed itself to be a law unto itself is NEVER going to suddenly bow to ‘laws’ enacted by the people that it disagrees with or sees itself above.

It is going to take the threat of force and the actual use of force to stop the tyranny now entrenching itself into permanent power over us.

We’re sealing our own fate hanging our hopes on a fantasy that somehow tyrants are going to bow to the will of the people and the rule of law.

As far as I’m concerned it’s not over. If you want to acquiesce to tyranny without a shot being fired, go ahead. That’s not for me. I think there’s a lot more like me also.

I agree with your passion and hope.

However, I cannot see any true action being undertaken to stop this.

How do you see true action being realized that can reverse any or all of this?

Brilliantly stated. You see the cold hard reality we face.

The difference is the “uncivil measures” we need to take (state nullification of unconstitutional federal acts) are actually legitimate and constitutional. The regime we are fighting is summarily unconstitutional and illegitimate.

Then, natural law, not civil law, was on the side of our Founders. Now, we have BOTH natural law AND civil law (the Supremacy Clause and the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution) on our side.

First in line should be Mr. Willie Ears himself, he can trade in his bogus Connecticut Social Security Number for one of his own.. I suggest he take number 666-66-6666 if it is not already taken.

I hope all the newly elected people in the House and Senate realize this illegal Executive action Obama is taking and getting away with makes their jobs basically ceremonial from here on out.

They can write all the laws they want and hand them to him. He will veto them and make his own laws by EO using the same excuses. He will say they will not work with me.

Executive amnesty is just the beginning. All the climate change crap he wants and the take over of the internet is going to happen.

We no longer have 3 branches of government. We have a dictator.

Sadly, a majority on our own side refuses to accept the hard, cold reality staring at them in the face.

Most of this country is infected with a fatal case of Normalcy Bias. The idea that the life we once had is now over is willfully discarded. Worse to consider is that what is required of us to hold onto what remains of our liberty is going to be that which our Forbears were willing to lay their lives down for.

The idea of defying government and the purposeful resolve to use all means at our disposal to defend liberty - is offensive to most of this people today.

Human nature teaches us that most people are only willing to take action when privation, misery and suffering is imposed upon them.

Life, imitating art:

The Emperor has played to the Senators well. They know where the power is going to lie, and they will do anything to share in it.

Might as well be watching C-SPAN, because this is exactly what is going on.

To defy and nullify the Federal Oligarchy at this point forward will require the threat and use of deadly force.

I have doubts whether the states and the people are going to be willing to go that far. Hell, the GOP leadership itself will not even use the “I” word.

The only thing that matters sir, is the will.

Whether or not this people have the will to resist this tyranny by every and all means at their disposal which will cost them everything - or whether or not the MarxoFascists have the will to use every and all means to subjugate and eradicate those who dare defy them, which will cost them nothing.

That is the stark reality and truth of what is right in front of our faces.

Wake up. Our population that stands for the Constitution is BEING REPLACED by an invasion force being brought into the nation by our leaders using OUR money.

This will end up being a more palpable version of gas chambers and death camps - but the end result will be the same.

History does not lie and teaches us many truths we have allowed ourselves to believe could not happen here.

I see two avenues of true action.

One is a proposal that is underway, Citizens for Self Governance Article V Convention of States. The issue there is whether satisfactory proposals to drastically cut government are ratified by 2/3’s of the states as amendments and if so, how in the world will the government follow the ratified amendments and basically commit bureaucratic suicide? How will government actually act against its own self interest? It never has. I’m not sure it will, Amendments or no Amendments.

The other option I see is along the lines of the Arizona proposal that was just passed into state law: state nullification of unconstitutional federal acts. The key here is the state’s willingness to go it alone financially - actually once again being financially independent of the federal government. It can and MUST be done and now is the time.

You’re kinda saying the same thing I am.

Yes, it’s time for America and the states to wake up.
