If current worldwide demographic trends continue, whites are seriously an endangered race.
A new baby boom of Hispanic, Asian and black children will make whites a minority in the USA by 2050.
White birth rates in America are falling, while immigrants and minorities are having more children.
The population surge does not derive directly from immigration, but rather from immigrants alreday in the USA having children.
This is in the new book Diversity Explosion by Brookings Institution demographer William Frey.
The book contains highly detailed charts and maps showing how falling white birth-rates and rising minority birth-rates will change the way the United States looks and votes forever.
The population of mixed-race Americans will dramatically increase, nearly tripling, in the next 50 years.
The Brookings Institution may be fairly liberal, but the book itself has precious information.

There are already nearly as many non-white babies being born as white children, according to Census Bureau statistics. It's only a matter of time before minorities children outnumber white ones.The result, Frey tells the Atlantic, will be very similar to the Baby Boom after the Second World War - except this time it will be minority children being born.
'Back in the 1950s, we had a lot of Americans across the board in their childbearing years - we had all these babies,' he said.
'Now, that's really only the case for some of the newer minorities.'
And it's not just cities that will be changing. The suburbs are already becoming more diverse and are likely to become progressively less white year after year.
Between 2000 and 2010, the population of Hispanics in suburbs grew by more than eight million. Major cities added just three million Hispanics.
Well, maybe we will be finally eligible for free stuff and social justice.
Actually, “hispanic” is not a race and the majority of hispanics in this country are white. This article is useless.

Minority vs. all other races combined. Hispanics will come close to equalling the number of whites, but the others still fall short.
When whites are a minority, will they become eligible for affirmative action?

You should not assume that after 2050 a white minority will be treated with the same entitlements, which have been so generously bestowed on other minorities in the past. In fact the rights of minorities, which have been recognized today, will not necessarily be recognized as applying to the white minority after 2050.
In 1970 one in 21` was foreign born; today it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years; and within a decade it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. In 1970 there were 9.7 million foreign born and today there are 41.5 million.
The author of this study fails to note the importance of immigration to these numbers. Yes, the number of children born to immigrants is high, but we bring in 1.1 million legal immigrants a year, 87% of whom are classified as minorities by the USG. If we substantially reduce legal immigration, we can slow down this trend. It will never be reversed.
Even on FR you can see support for JFK’s plan to replace WASPs with foreigners, who just happen to vote democrat of course.
If one decided to judge by advertising trends alone, they would conclude that whites already were a minority, with white males supposedly being as rare as Peruvian Condors.
Toy commercials will often refuse to acknowledge the white male child, or when they do, he is often pictured as playing alone. I try to read trends in an objective way. No one should be systematically marginalized, especially not a child.
We have seen projections of such population change in the past.
In the early 1900s, for example, there were concerns about immigrants of the era, and their children, overwhelming the native born population.
The difference between now and then, is that immigrants of the past assimilated into America. Today, assimilation is a dirty word. How often do you hear anyone talk about assimilation of the immigrant masses today???
And why do we have to have open borders? We severely restricted immigration in the 1920s, and kept controls in place until Ted Kennedy’s immigration law of the 1960s liberalized things.
Why was it that previous generations in the 1920s could restrict immigration, based on the national interest, but we can’t say that we don’t need or desire any more 3rd world illegals in this country?? What has changed? Are we so afraid of political correctness that by default, we have to have open borders???? What the heck???
Thank you for pointing that out-I was just about to point out that most Hispanics are Caucasian/white, and Hispanic/Latino is an ethnic group-something that way too many journalists conveniently ignore.
