Has the House ever in the last four years voted to defund anything The Won wanted?

Nothing can be defunded without the Senate to go along, and then you need to be able to withstand either: a) a Presidential veto; or b) the negative press of a government shutdown.

We already had a shutdown, and I think that it was more successful than the mid-'90s shutdowns because Clinton was pretty smart in the PR department and Obama acted like the spiteful little child that he is. That one, however, was about spending and O'care. Executive amnesty hadn't yet come up.

What I'd like to see a reporter ask is: "Mr. President, you say that the Republicans have prevented any kind of comprehensive immigration reform for the last 6 years...but didn't your party, the Democrats, control both houses of Congress for the first 2 years of your term? How can you blame the Republicans, and use that as the basis for an executive amnesty that is needed "right away" before the new Congress is sworn in, when your own party could have put the legislation on your desk in 2009 or 2010 without Republican help, just like it did with health care?

Yeah, I know, no such question will ever be asked.

Get a close the border bill on Harry Reid’s desk tomorrow. Announce it in a press conference with every republican member of congress there. Let Harry Reid say no to putting this bill before the senate. Put the bill up on the congressional web site. And make the bill a page long.

Then when Obama says the republicans aremt doing anything, they just point to Reid and say, “see? He obstructed the work of congress for 4 years.”

Would it make sense to start small? We can’t get Obama or his moron supporters in Congress out, but in many municipalities and local government voters have the power of recall. Where it is appropriate and where emotions are high on this issue, what about organizing recall campaigns against Democrats, on the grounds that to the extent they are part of the Democrat party they are part of the problem and must be removed. A few successful recalls and maybe the Rats would start getting the message.

Yet another of these ‘dilemma’ pondering articles. The way I see it is pretty simple; Congress is more nervous about impeachment than they are about a massively illegal edict by a hostile, America-hating President. This may require a citizen intervention.

I’d prefer to see him impeached, removed from office, tried for treason, convicted, and hanged.

I’m not counting on that.

I’m also not counting on the House refusing to fund his imperial schemes.

I am with you on all the above.

There are several in the House drawing up plans to not fund Obama’s amnesty. I just listened to an interview with congressman Ted Poe of Texas. He talked about how he and others are drawing up plans to defund it as soon as it is proposed by Obama. I don’t know how it would work but I will be behind him and the others fighting it as best I can.

Senator Jeff Sessions is another in congress that has been fighting it. Without Sessions, we would already have Obama’s amnesty plan. The guys that are fighting it need our support.

I’d like to see that question too, but know that is never coming.

Actually he’ll pass amnesty just as the riots start and it will be a small footnote in the news. Most people seeing carnage won’t even notice. Remember, never let a crisis go to waste. Why do you think he went to Ferguson yesterday. To help rile up his troops

Exactly right. We need a FULL government shutdown NOW!

This will cause Obama to cave on amnesty and Obamacare within a month. And after Obama caves, impeach him.

I would be “pleased as punch” to see the House say, financially, “FUBO”.

I’d be even happier to see them sing him a hymn.

As in, they all stand up and sing, reminiscent of a Gregorian Chant,

“Hymmmmmmm.

Hymmmmmmm.

F*** Hymmmmm”
