I think Obama is totally going to get away with it. Allahpundit puts the anger and frustration about it best...
In a better America, this is an impeachable offense. It’s a gross affront to separation of powers and it’s a nightmare precedent for executive lawmaking, one that liberals will regret once a Republican president is wielding it. In the America we live in, though, most voters don’t care about separation of powers — in fact, most voters can’t even name the three branches whose powers are supposed to be separated....
(T)he decision to continue or rescind this amnesty would end up being a key issue in the 2016 campaign. Hillary will promise to continue it; what will Rubio or Paul or Walker or Cruz promise, with Latino voters watching closely?
I've never been one to advocate GOP pandering at the expense of their soul (did Reagan's amnesty in 1986 do the GOP any favors?), but I don't know what the alternative is when they're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
What's worse is even if the GOP goes along it's Obama and the left who will be given all the credit in the eyes of the media and Hispanic community. So what difference at this point does it make?
This whole fiasco must end, violently if needed!
If you are ‘damned if you do’ and you do harm to your country; or if you are ‘damned if you don’t’ but you do no harm to your country, then the correct path is to do no harm to your country even if ‘you are damned’ for not doing it.
The GOPE has already signaled surrender on almost every issue.
Impeach him. It is the right thing to do. It is their job to do so. If he is not checked he will become the Hugo Chavez of America. He is filling the armed forces with individuals loyal to him, not America. Not the constitution. And you better believe he will use them against the citizens. Along with the illegal aliens loyal to him as soon as he thinks there is a chance of success. Congress needs to show a spine.
Fair enough...
You might want to change your graphic and make the donkey an elephant, McConnell has already caved.
Those have to be Canadians pictured on that sign. Whoever heard of a Mexican family with only one kid?
Yeah, but the Democrats will be rewarded with the votes.
What a damn, creepy dude!
