CNN's Washington bureau is suffering from low morale and high anxiety in the wake of weeks of layoffs and buyouts — with one employee likening the place to the Redskins’ locker room.
In conversations with POLITICO, sources at the bureau spoke of tension in the office as several longtime staffers have been let go while others are being promoted and given raises. On Friday, during the most recent departures, "people were crying all over the bureau," one D.C. employee said.

I have good news for them. CNN is not hiding the news of their layoffs!
They have a unique way of celebrating. The managers hide in their offices and won’t go to any going away parties. Maybe layoffs are contagious.
For now their health care consists of taking two aspirins, stay in bed in the morning because they are jobless, and don’t bother calling anyone.

I remember the scene in “Broadcast News” after a bunch of employees just got their pink slips, and the office manager asks one of the laid-off if there was anything he could for him.
“Well, you could die soon.”

I haven’t noticed, I have DISH network and they finally dropped that worthless channel.
DISH made a decision based on economics. Cnn failed to prove that it was worthy of being a part of their the DISH network. There are better choices for DISH. If management at CNN had the common sense that DISH had, CNN would still be viable.

I have dish. The cnn space says Turner Broadcast has pulled CNN and replaced with msnbc. Really????
