One of the most blatant incidents of academic bigotry is going to end up in civil court and potentially cost the University of California, Santa Barbara and Assistant Professor Mireille Miller-Young a lot of money. You may recall that the good professor, enraged by the appearance of pro-life demonstrators in a designated free-speech zone on her campus, assaulted a 16-year-old pro-life demonstrator, whose lawful demonstration offended the professor.

The jury should take the "professor" and USCB to the financial cleaners. In addition the assailant should be added to the national list of child abusers and a restraining order applied to prevent her from approaching any child who might be pro-life.
The bitch needs some jail time but I would settle for a serious reduction in her net worth.

Exactly. They are all about showing the violence of war but fight tooth and nail when graphic pictures of butchered babies are shown.
A person would have to be sick to not be impacted by the pictures and the truth. And that is why this prof is so angry. She knows that, if the truth is presented fairly and equally, many people considering abortion might have second thoughts. And proponents of abortion might have to justify the act. She hopes that it will stay “out of sight out of mind.”
The truth about abortion is that a potential human being is violently killed. And worst of all, they are completely innocent and vulnerable with only the mother to protect them. The same mother who participates in the same act of violence.
It is a sad time when the most innocent and vulnerable of us are treated as a lump of flesh. Like an appendix or tonsil that is removed and discarded after surgery.
Isn’t tolerance wonderful.

Not a chance! UCSB, like most of the UC system, has become a totalitarian Marxist enclave. I attended graduation ceremonies for a friend's daughter there some time back. It was like being at a Communist May Day observance in Moscow during the Cold War.
An abiding mystery to me is why decent American parents spend many thousands of dollars a year in tuition to have their kids indoctrinated with hateful, racist, anti-American poison.

I really don’t understand how some of these degrees help people find jobs. That is the goal of college after all, to learn a skill for future employment. Why? Because most of us working stiffs can’t afford to waste money on a degree that has no chance of helping with employment later on.
Only rich folks and probably rich liberals can afford to waste $100K.
