An open letter to Roger Ailes: Please, PLEASE, for the love of God, take Juan Williams off the air.
one man's opinion...

Posted on 11/05/2014 4:45:43 AM PST by ken5050

Dear Mr. Ailes...You have had a brilliant, and highly successful career. You helped with Reagan's 1984 victory, and that of GWH Bush in 1988. You created FOX News from nothing, and guided it to the ratings behemoth it is today, while finally giving conservatives a reliable source of news, and a voice for our beliefs. You've blessed us with Megyn Kelly, as well as a bevy of bodacious blond beauties. Inevitably, you've made a few mistakes along the way, but you've always realized them, and most importantly..MOVED SWIFTLY TO RECTIFY THEM...

Geraldo Rivera comes to mind...but he's only on the air sporadically now, probably when his yacht is in drydock. You successfully amputated Colmes from Hannity..though it is rumored that you only keep the eyebrow around as a kindness to Monica Crowley, whose sister, for whatever bizarro reason, married the clown. You hired Dennis Kucinich..but he's on air like, well..never....

But Roger, can we please talk? I spent most of last evening watching the election returns on FNC, and they did a great job....

EXCEPT FOR JUAN WILLIAMS.

Roger, how can I put this? Let me try..

JUAN WILLIAMS IS DUMB AS A ROCK. PERIOD.

After NPR, in a PC move, fired Williams, you couldn't resist the impulse to snatch him up, give him a big contract, and make him your star go-to-black-liberal-Dem guy.

BIG, BIG MISTAKE.

Like the proverbial stopped clock, Juan is right on a few occasions, but 99% of the time he adds NOTHING to the conversation, merely offering up a banal recitation of Democrat talking points. He is Barack's butt-boy. Obama can do no wrong in William's eyes. It gets tedious, tendentious, and ( dare I say it? ) black-comedic to hear his repetitious defense of Zero.

And more often than not, he says something really, REALLY STUPID, which usually causes Brit Hume's and/or Charles Krauthammer's eyes to roll, as they look at him with utter astonishment...."Did this clown really just say that?"

There were so many instances last night...but the hilite (lowlite??) was when he repeated over and over that it "wasn't a wave" and that the reason so many Dems were losing was because "the voters were in an anti-incumbent mood." Really? That's all ya got, Juan?

If you intent is to have a black/liberal/minority/Democrat point of view on-air, to be "fair and balanced," then please, at least find one with a modicum of intelligence. Williams adds nothing to the conversation; he brings nothing to the table.

It is way past time for Juan to be GONE!

So, please, Roger...make a change.

Here's an idea....a graceful out...make him co-anchor with Shep Smith on that "thing"..that watchamacallit afternoon show where Shep talks to big TV monitors..They'd be PERFECT together.

Roger, PLEASE!!!!..we're just about to start the 2016 campaign...and I can't stand another two years of Juan Williams. It's bad enough I have to put up with Obama.

“JUAN WILLIAMS IS DUMB AS A ROCK. PERIOD.”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Which is exactly why he should remain where he is.

As Rush is fond of saying, “Just let them talk. Then the world will see.”

The guy they should phase out is Brit Hume. While his politics are fine, he fumbles and stumbles a lot. The energy REALLY slows down when he talks, to the point where I feel bad for the guy.

Perfect!
However, I don’t mind someone dumber than a rock arguing the liberal position!

To borrow a line from the continual barrage of protesters in liberal Madison, Wisconsin: “Hey hey, ho ho” - Juan Williams has to go!

No, you have to keep somebody like Juan around. He epitomizes why liberals are so wrong and validates the argument for conservative policy.

A-MEN

He is wormy, like Alan Colmes, kinda creeps me out

Doesn’t seem that bright, nor to really believe the positions he’s defending- Williams is just kind of a tool

I know a lot of people hate Beckel, but of all the libs, at least he makes me laugh

I’ll take waan over bob beltbuckle any day. williams is just a buffoon and an idiot, bob beltbuckle thinks he’s right. When Beckle admitted on the air he did drugs in the White House he should have been imediatly removed from the air. Atleast Juan’s kid seems to have his head on straight.

Williams will twist himself and his logic into a pretzel to defend Obama. He learned nothing from his dismissal from NPR.

I agree 101%.

Won Williams is the Ebola of cable TV news.

When he's on, I don a mouth mask and ear plugs for protection.

Get the hook.

Nice rant, but I must admit that Juan Williams will always have one thing going for him in my eyes:

In his autobiography My Grandfather's Son, Clarence Thomas singles out Juan Williams as perhaps the only liberal inside-the-Beltway journalist who treated him fairly during the idiocy surrounding Thomas' confirmation hearings and the disgraceful Anita Hill episode.

Juan Williams needs to stay. Fox needs someone to remind us of exactly what we are up against and why we are against his political ideology.

Completely silencing the opposition and destroying them is a liberal tactic. We don’t have to destroy them. As seen last night, they are able to do that themselves.

Thank you! You're spot on, here. I watched FNC last night, as well. It was like watching a great movie that evokes happiness but keeps cutting to the villain who pi$$es you off. Why couldn't I just enjoy the night without having Juan keep jumping in with his ridiculous assertions?

I kind of have mixed feelings about Beckel. He's definitely an idiot but sometimes he's fun to watch. I love it when he gets mad and pouts. And as far as I've seen he's the only one that can get Dana Perino angry and I love it when she tears into him. Very entertaining.

Also, did anybody catch what he said last night about the 'rats holding back votes in Fairfax County? He said he had personally done it. Wish somebody would have asked him how a campaign worker had access to ballots.
