I joined FR when my eyes were opened and I became a conservative!! Heard Rush mention it. It was before 9/11, maybe during the Presidential debates. Maybe when I looked at Ralph Nader’s website - having liked him in college - and my stomach turned and it dawned on me that my husband was RIGHT. Again!!
One of the FR girls was the first person to acknowledge me sometime in the mid 90’s. I was commenting on the horror of abortion and someone said, “Where did you come from?” I have often wondered who that was. Not something anyone would remember but it would establish my timeline here.
I have very much appreciated your gentle, positive influence on FR over the years.
