One of our long time, if not very frequent Freepers passed away last week.
In all the hustle, I had forgotten to update the online world of his passing.
Legion had been suffering from cancer for a few years. A CT resident, he was vocal here on the issues that are important to us all, and a day-to-day reality to those in the Northeast.
He introduced me to Free Republic more than a decade ago (WAY more than a decade). I'm not sure how long he has been a contributor here - I don't even know long I've been here.
Legion was one of the guys who helped me learn to push aside the chaff and see reality. I hope he was able to help more people here as well.
Thank you all, and god bless.

I’m so sorry. May he rest in peace.
Sad,I will pray for his family,Fatima
R.I.P., Legion.
Thank you for your prayers and helping me to use the forum.
He will be missed - but his legacy lives on. God bless us all, live free and long live the Republic.
