I am as offended by burka wearing bitches as blacks are by the confederate flag.
Fair enough!
So long as you know that not every woman who wears hajib is a "bitch."
And a burqa is NOT a hajib.
And not all blacks, many of my Southern friends included, are NOT offended in the least by and indeed have a soft spot for the ensign of the Army of Northern Virginia,
...And that a token of religious symbolism does not make a woman a bitch. A victim, maybe, but not a bitch.
Alas, maybe none of this matters to you and the representatives you elect.

Strange days indeed when the French (the FRENCH!) have more balls than America.

How many bakers have been forced to follow their customer's religious beliefs within the baker's property? Maybe you should start by talking to the baker who is being crushed by the gay mafia for refusing to bake a cake to celebrate their sodomite sham marriage.

I’ve read about how they must bow to their customers religion (or lack thereof) and not follow their own. Try rereading my post.

Confederate flag is a completely separate issue, but I think reasonable people could be offended by it. 350,000 U.S. soldiers died in the civil war to preserve the union. Fair to say it was a pretty divisive period in our history. 300,000 rebels soldiers were killed too and out of respect for my Freeper friends from the South, I should probably not discount them entirely. But rebel battle flags, yeah they can be offensive to some.

I am as offended by burka wearing bitches as blacks are by the confederate flag Quite a few blacks fought for the Confederacy. It was their battle flag, too. Blacks pretending to be offended by the Confederate flag are just playing racist politics.
And why did you call them, "bitches"?

The U.S. has not implemented a similar ban because of First Amendment considerations,
BS! It's because our "representatives" represent Saudi concerns first!

Good for the French.
One has to really hate women to oppose a ban on Islamic head-sacks.

The U.S. has not implemented a similar ban because of First Amendment considerations, even in the face of escalating threats from radical Islamists. Islam doctrinally intends to subvert the Constitution, using "free exercise" for themselves to destroy it for everybody else. They are therefore not a party to the social contract that is the Constitution, choosing not to allow others equal status before the law among "we the people." They are therefore undeserving of Constitutional protections.
