Obama and the Ebola Bus Line

President Obama has been going out of his way to assure the world that you can’t catch the Ebola virus by riding on a bus. In a September 2 video message to West African countries suffering from Ebola outbreaks, the president assured people that they cannot get the disease through “casual contact like sitting next to someone on a bus.” ...

But compare Mr. Obama’s laid-back attitude to responses in countries that have more than a mere briefing-book knowledge of the Ebola threat.

Tarnue N. Jeke, Managing Director of the Liberian National Transit Authority (NTA), takes a more serious view of the challenges of Ebola and public transportation. In “Measures for Prevention of Ebola in Liberia” he outlines policies far different from the White House do-nothing approach.

In Liberia, all NTA buses are sprayed down with chlorinated water every time they leave the compound. Bus drivers and conductors are forbidden from transporting any acutely ill people, and if they see someone who shows symptoms they are required to report them.

See, the mistake everyone is making is that they aren't really listening to Obama and obeying his orders.

Director Frankenstein at the CDC said "If you're showing symptoms of embola, don't ride the bus because you could infect someone."

Then he said, "You can't get ebola from riding the bus."

The problem is, Obama and Frankenstein are expecting the sheeple to do as they are told.

He told people who have ebola symptoms not to ride the bus. And since he told them not to do that, well, obviously no one with ebola symptoms is gonna ride the bus. So, voila, it's safe to ride the bus.

Don't you get it? Just do what you're told and everyone will be fine. Sick people won't ride the bus, so you won't get sick just from riding the bus. Simple!

Bring Out Your Dead
