How did Notre Dame drop two spots after a win?

Stanford will beat ND this weekend, so it won’t matter where ND is now.

Gee, why don’t we just do away with the Fantasy Championship 2.0 and name the winner of the SEC the national champions?

Because Oregon is not in the SEC.

The playoff system will not make anything fair and it will not silence critics, it will only make more money for the gaming industry. No matter what the system, no matter what the decision and no matter what the outcome, there will be a fanbase or a conference bitching and moaning that their team(s) got hosed.

If he thinks two teams from one division in one conference is going to make the playoffs I have oceanfront property in AZ.

People are waiting for them to play a team with a pulse. Right now they have just a one game season, we will find out then.

The only way to make a true championship is an 8 team playoff against the 6 strongest conferences and 2 at large. Then you will have a real champion like every other sport.

You almost have it correct..The EC has two divisions, SEC West, and SEC Least.

FYI..this is a fascinating read:

"What if everyone in the SEC West goes 9-3?"

Fans in Mississippi will be inconsolable if BOTH teams lose....so go Rebels

Texas sucks, maybe TCU will tell us something. My money is on the OU game telling us what sort of team Baylor is.

“Baylor should be MUCH higher”

“4 and 0”

Baylor has played no one. And plays no one the rest of the season except Oklahoma. It’s pretty tough to name a team with a one game season one of the 4 best.

what about all the other teams, they get hosed and only big name teams get a shot. You might as well just shut down the other conferences and shutter the other 100 or so programs because they just don’t stand a chance, just like before. this changes nothing and only makes it more lucrative for bettors because they have more games on which to gamble. <devil’s advocate

Let them become a large conference or join a bigger conference.
