WHAT KARL ROVE WONT TELL YOU Wave goodbye to the Republican wave?
By Scott McKay 9.23.14
Last Wednesday (Sept. 17), former George W. Bush political guru and current Republican Super PAC king Karl Rove took to the pages of the Wall Street Journal to exhort that papers readers to make it rain to the benefit of Republican senatorial candidates with just six weeks left before Election Day.
[R]educing the Democratic cash advantage will tip the needle in the GOP's direction, Rove said. That will only happen if Republicans open their wallets to candidates whom they may have never met, and, if they live in a battleground state, they clear their calendars to volunteer to identify and get out the vote. If they dont, they should prepare for two more years of Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Rove says the Republican wave everyone expects this fall isnt materializing as yet because Democrats are outraising and outspending Republicans across the board. As evidence, he cites that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee had outraised the National Republican Senatorial Committee by $1.6 million in August and, as of August 31, was sitting on a $5 million larger war chest. Rove also noted a study by American Crossroads which concluded that so far Democrat political entities had run or placed some $109 million in campaign TV ads, while their Republican counterparts had only run or placed $85 million.

Tokyo Rove has always been the enemy of Conservatives.

He started off announcing the formation of this pac to raise money to fund establishment candidates in a transparent ploy to deprive the grassroots, tea party base of the wherewithal to participate in this election. Now he is exhorting the unsuspecting to empty their purses into his coffers to retrieve his mistakes.
Even conceding the old adage that money is the mother's milk of politics, sometime in their infancy conservatives must have learned at the breast the real meaning of conservatism. Sooner or later the Republican Party will have to find its soul.
If I'm going to be insulted, I prefer it be from someone I DIDN'T vote for, not one I did.
Guess I'm just funny that way.
A diamond with a flaw is better than a pebble with none.
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Vote GOP, or else.
Rove doesn’t give a damn about conservatives and what we want.
He and his gopee goons will be here in increasing numbers as time goes by, urging us to lick the hand that beats us and the boot that kicks us.
And they will strain to pull things like the above chestnuts out of their hats, as they did in 2008 and ‘12, knowing that they deserve nothing from us.
But they voted 100% against Obamacare and balk at amnesty. That’s promising, but action talks. How’s retirement, Senator Luger?
Republican waves happen when they are formed by conservatism, something the Republican left has forgotten, and because of their treachery towards the conservative base, fools like Rove may well put Reid back in charge.
Right about now it would be interesting to hear Rove explain what the GOP establishment has gotten for its betrayal of conservatives. Is it Hispanic votes, gay votes, black votes, feminist votes, independent votes...? Good luck with that Karl.
GOP - Conservatives = Whigs
Rove was looking for a third chin on EBay but they didn’t have one big enough.
Rove is all about winning.
The other end of the spectrum is all about purity of governing philosophy.
If you don’t win, your philosophy doesn’t matter.
If you win and your philosophy sucks, winning doesn’t matter.
It’s always a balance in the real world.
Thanks Karl!
And there won’t be one because the Rove-types still run the GOPe show.
Words have power. When you call your base racists and surrender to leftists your base aren’t fools and you reap what you sow.
We can’t seem to rid ourselves of this guy. It’s a critical time for our country and he’s in the way
