If the Democrats can’t beat Michael Grimm where can they win?

The local “expert” political analyst and his editorial board must be apoplectic. This was NOT the way this first “independent” poll was supposed to turn out. The media and every Democrat leader in the 11th New York Congressional District hate Republican incumbent Michael Grimm with a burning passion; yet there it is, Grimm is ahead by 4 points.

Grimm, the guy who is under a twenty count federal indictment for everything from tax evasion to jaywalking is up by 4 points in a Siena College poll – no less!

Grimm, who was videoed threatening to throw a NY1 television reporter over a rail in the capital building, is up 4 points. And THAT reporter has to report the story!

Truth be told I am still not convinced on Grimm. I have actually told him I would not vote for him. I had planned to skip that line, but lately I have been wavering and it isn’t because of the indictment. After working for 70 consecutive days, 10 hours a day to get him elected in 2010 I was walking away from Grimm because I no longer trust him to vote against amnesty.

Nevertheless, in the past three weeks his low rent, socialist opponent who is a clone of Comrade Bill de Blasio has given me reason to vote against him. Everywhere I go on my computer the socialist has a pop up asking “Do you know the truth about Grimm?” He’s pushing me and probably a lot of Staten Islanders, toward Grimm.

The 11th NY Congressional District is 2/3 on Staten Island and 1/3 in Brooklyn. It was held by a Republican for 28 years until zipper problems...

Too bad. In this election a good candidate could possibly sneak up on this idiot and beat him.
