Footage has recently surfaced of a speech given by Michelle Obama in which she admits that her husband was born in Kenya.
Speaking about Barack Obama, Michelle says, “When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya, we took a public HIV test for the very point of showing folks in Kenya that there is nothing to be embarrassed about in getting tested.”
My, my, that seems like quite a Freudian slip! Barack could not have been happy that his own wife blew his cover, but I guess that's what he gets for marrying a fool like Michelle…

There’s no such thing as a “de facto” U.S. Citizen. Either a person is a “de jure” (under law) U.S. citizen or they aren’t a citizen.
With regard to Barack Obama, in an eligibility lawsuit in New Jersey the court ruled: {Purpura & Moran v Obama:} New Jersey Administrative Law Judge Jeff S. Masin: “No court, federal, state or administrative, has accepted the challengers’ position that Mr. Obama is not a “natural born citizen” due to the acknowledged fact that his father was born in Kenya and was a British citizen by virtue of the then applicable British Nationality Act. Nor has the fact that Obama had, or may have had, dual citizenship at the time of his birth and thereafter been held to deny him the status of natural born. It is unnecessary to reinvent the wheel here. The petitioners’ legal position on this issue, however well intentioned, has no merit in law. Thus, accepting for the point of this issue that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a ‘natural born citizen’ regardless of the status of his father.” April 10, 2012
The plaintiffs appealed to the New Jersey Supreme Court which upheld the trial court’s ruling. The plaintiffs then appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States which allowed the lower court’s ruling to stand by denying certiorari.
The law in 1970 when Ted Cruz was born required one U.S. citizen parent if you were born outside of the U.S. The U.S. Citizen parent had to be at least 19 years of age and have lived in the U.S. for at least five years.
Here’s what the current law says on being foreign born and being a “Citizen of the United States At Birth:” “a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least TWO of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years...” The difference between the current law and the 1970 law is that you had to be FIVE years past the age of 14 (which Ted Cruz’ Delaware born mother was) at the time of the child’s birth.
If Barack Obama was born outside the U.S., his mother was three months too young to confer citizenship-at-birth status to him since she was 18 years and nine months old when he was born.
Just out of curiosity, then. Did anyone see Obama’s mother in HI either in the 9 mos prior to her giving birth, or in the weeks between Aug ‘61 and when she showed up in Seattle?
it actually is from a booklet, not his book. apparently from the same publisher. i think from the layout and info in it, to me it looked like it was from one of the inside covers off a book jacket.

My apologies, unfortunately your information is lost on me. I concede any legal arguments to you, because I’m unqualified to comment about specific law.
However, I’m old enough to know that legal arguments maybe contingent, incomplete, leading, subject to peer review, ambiguous or overruled by succeeding rulings, new laws or amendments to the constitution, public pressure, new evidence, non enforcement and probably a lot of things, of which, I am simply ignorant. Therefor, I have no idea, if what you said or say is true. I would be more inclined to have trust in thorough, televised congressional investigations.
Many, like myself who do not have legal backgrounds are interested in the facts regarding the incredible background of Barack Obama. His childhood mentors, family friends, his Reverend. Whether he wrote his own auto-biography as he claims, if he was a foreign student, if he registered with the selective service, or conspired to defraud the electorate, or committed treason, etc.
In other words, I hope that my representatives in congress address these concerns, or I will conclude; they are complicit in suppressing the rights of the electorate to have accurate information and a full vetting of our elected officials.
It’s called the “Sell Sheet”. It’s what the author puts together to market himself & his work. It’s supposed to pique the interest of publishers who read it, and make them want to see the author’s work and acquire it if possible.
well according to breitbart the publisher made up this pamphlet themselves and sent it out. at least that’s what they said when contacted about it, that barry didn’t know anything about it (so that’s why he didn’t correct the kenya reference).

Had Obama been a white Republican, the MSM would have asked the obvious questions. Why did the agent write Obama’s sell sheet for him, when other authors write their own? Where did the agent get the “fact” that Obama was born in Kenya? Why was such a simple question [i.e.: birthplace] not put to Obama? Why was he not allowed to proofread, or even look at, his own Sell Sheet? Did the agents write *any* other author’s Sell Sheets? If so, did they make fundamental ‘errors’ on them too...or is this yet another of the myriad cases where it ‘happened only to Obama/Obama’s records’.

I note that they claim an assistant made this error, not one of the agents. But that changes nothing. All the questions remain the same. & as I’ve noted elsewhere, since the proposed book, Journeys in Black and White, hinges on Obama’s Kenyan birth, why would the agent herself not verify this crucial and fundamental “fact”?
well throw in oba’s grandma saying she saw him born in kenya - how can she get that wrong? and then the other day the clip of mooch saying he’s born in kenya.
In the debate with Alan Keyes for senator, the video clip of which I saw here on FR before it was scrubbed from the web, showed Alan Keyes saying something like “but you weren’t even born in America” and Obama responds “ we are talking about senator, here, not president.”
I didn’t think when I saw it that it was any smoking gun, and surely Obama could walk it back now like he does everything else. But that exchange happened even though Alan Keyes apparently “has no recollection”
