Online service helps users learn and share their STD-status

People being tested for sexually transmitted diseases can now use their computers or iPhones to quickly get the results, and experts hope this easy access will make them more likely to honestly share their STD status with their partners.

The new service, called Healthvana, allows patients access to their lab results once they are completed at a clinic or medical center, usually within days of being tested. Patients then receive an email instructing them to log-in to the secure online portal. Results can also be viewed through the official iPhone app.

All of the records are easily accessible, shareable and verified. Records are also time-stamped.

If someone tests positive for HIV or other STD they should be forced to have that info tattooed on their wrist or something for the safety of the public.

Are you really saying being Jewish is equivalent to having an STD?

Yup, need to identify those Juden.

They're walking public health hazards, not Jews.

They will be stored in total confidentiality on the cloud, of course, like the super-secret nude photos were...

Do I smell the next lawsuit cash cow?

Well, there are supposedly online services for homosexuals to find the best cruising spots, likely the same for smartphones as well. Seems a market for that sort of thing exists.

Knowing your demographic and all that it has been said. STDs and where to catch them, all in one application/website?

What college boys need is an app on which college girls can record consent (instantly transmitted to cloud storage so it can’t be denied later)!

I’m all for it, everyone should know who has a sexually transmitted disease, obviously many if not most of those who know they have a disease, are careful to spread the disease to those who don’t, otherwise there would not be so much of it.

I am confident that hackers will be all about gathering the information and freely sharing it with the world, there is no such thing as an expectation of privacy today, to quote a popular cliche “it is what it is”, might as well expose those who could/would willingly or unwillingly spread that which reflects the perversion of a moral culture.

There was a time when such were ashamed of; by their own free will; acquiring such diseases, they now brag about it, time to bring shame back into the culture.

The concept of shame kept sodomites, in a constant state of whispering and hiding, in the past, now they control every aspect of society, and are hell bent on total destruction of any moral code, that might impair their perversion, it seems most do not understand they already have the children in their grasp.

I’m a bit dense today; perhaps you could point-out the clarity to me.

Now you are saying being Jewish is like having an STD.

Identification of those with communicable, incurable diseases is a public health issue, not one of religious persecution.

You don’t think they should be tattooed because the Nazis tattooed people?

OK, how about we brand them instead?

We should do neither. Don’t be a whore and you’ll be safe from them.
