New Panoramic Images Show Area 51's New Mystery Hanger Is Gigantic
Foxtrot Alpha ^ | Aug 30,2014 | Tyler Rogoway

[snip]So why would the USAF build a hangar tall enough to house a jumbo jet? Maybe they are hedging their investment to accommodate presently unknown future projects, or there is something in the works that has a fairly massive, and very much un-stealthy vertical tail.

For a base that was allegedly deactivated a decade ago it sure looks busy to me.

I just wonder what is being cooked up there.

I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about aviation, but here's a thought: Maybe they plan to put a jumbo jet in there.

Air Force One is a 747, and might occasionally visit if the Pres is to be shown a test flight.

Large cargo planes like the C5 Galaxy might bring stuff over to the base.

Lots of legitimate reasons to have a hanger that would accommodate a large plane.

Location means it is not a hangar. It might be a standoff structure for aircraft that are being staged with armament and shade to keep them out of the sun.

If it was a hangar, it would be offset from the taxiway and runway by about 700ft. It’s location is similar to where one stages an armed aircraft with all the appropriate standoff distances to nearby occupied facilities.

Of course it might also be remotely located so the alien occupants don’t interfere with the mind control technologies of those operating the airfield. <8^0

That woman is el primo example of how our universities started taking a massive nose dive in the 70s when liberals started taking them over. In the 70s the conservative WW2 era Professors started retiring and were replaced by the hippie radicals, so you would have people like Sheila Jackson Lee graduating from Yale even though the woman has the equivalent of a 3rd grade education. And what happens? They are put into positions of power, same with Obama. We got all these absolute morons in government who aren’t fit to run a lemonade stand never mind hold political office.

For that much to be built there has to be a steady stream of truck traffic. Hard to see how anything can be secret under those conditions.

What do they do for water? Wells? What about fuel? It has to be trucked in or do they have a pipeline from somewhere off base with a terminal to unload trucks?

More than likely. Barry couldn't help but notice the need for a larger FLOTUS aircraft after seeing her at one of the recent "Eating Healthy" engagements...

Wasn't a chemically pumped, laser equipped, 747 undergoing development? It was intended to take out ballistic missiles during the boost phase. A smaller, truck mounted version has successfully demonstrated it's capabilities by destroying mortar and artillery shells in flight.

That is what is referred to as a “drape shape”: it drapes over the chair when sitting.
