One organization is working to not only honor the achievements and legacy of the late Michael Brown, but to also help his younger siblings achieve what he didn't have the chance to.
Brown, the unarmed black teen who was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, earlier this month, was a recent high school graduate. He was scheduled to start classes at Vatterott College on Aug. 11, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, but was killed two days prior. The Wisconsin Hope Lab -- a program that researches ways to minimize barriers for students of all backgrounds to attain a post-secondary education -- is working in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County to create the "Mike Brown College Scholarship," which will help Brown's three siblings attend college.
"Mike's mom deserves to see her other children cross the finish line and receive their diplomas -- I want to support her doing that," Sara Goldrick-Rab, Wisconsin Hope Lab director, told WISC-TV....

You’re right. Even the lefties at HuffingtonPuffington get how ridiculous this “St Big Scholarship Fund” is.
So what kind of students are his siblings that they deserve scholarships? This is getting beyond silly. What kind of parenting did this boy have that he so late in the game valued education? How much parent involvement? It takes a village didn’t work. Have we had a Bill Cosby moment on this madness?

And how does one qualify for this prestigious scholarship?
Do they have to pay taxes on this fund? What if they don’t finish? What if they end up not going in the first place? Where do the funds go? I’m all for helping deserving individuals but just being a sibling shouldn’t be the only criteria. How many others in this country have lost brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers and no big monied scholarship for them. This has gotten out of control. I am sorry for the family’s loss but this has turned into a three ring circus.
Every time I see something like this I reflexively send Darren Wilson a few bucks.

Looks like Johnson goes to court again tomorrow about Brown’s juvenile record.
Wow. Its actually encouraging. Maybe some sanity is returning.
Not only the scholarship fund, about 20-1 are siding with Wilsons side of the story.
What’s unbelievable is the few that claim the robbery was a “prank” or that it wansn’t really Brown in the CCTV video.
As if there was numerous 6’4” 300 pound black guys wearing the exact same clothes, the exact same cap, and the exact same clown shoes walking in the vicinity of the robbery at 12 noon that day.
There is going to be a huge backlash this November against the Democratic Party and I think they know it. Did you notice that none of the big time Dems like Queen Hillary, San Fran Nan, or Dingy Harry bothered to show up at the Brown funeral? Usually white libs crash these big time events to get some cheap political points but even they know their party has overplayed their hand on the whole Ferguson fiasco and want to stay as far away from Missouri as they can.

Several claim that St Big Mike actually paid for the cigars. I guess he was just giving the store clerk a Big Mike hug, for the smooth transaction. I guess, too, that that mean store clerk was just lying about the being robbed thing.

WHAT "achievements"? Much less legacy! Legacy? AYSM? What other 18 yr old have you heard has a legacy? And sorry, but could someone tell me what Brown didn't "have the chance" to achieve? Did he not have the chance to pay attention in school? To shun violence and drugs? To leave scrawny convenience store clerks alone?

Guess that’s why they want EO amnesty.....they need the 20M+ illegal votes.
