Paul has been badly misconstrued throughout history. He remained a practicing Jew and invited all to accept Christ and become Judaic. His concern was that Christ not be subsumed under Mosaic law but be the fullest expression of that law. He never denied Judaism, a fact some of his contemporaries did not adequately understand.
ALL Messianic Jews are followers of Christ by definition, right? That was my quandary when I converted from a non-practicing Episcopalian to a Jew to born-again Christian - am I now a Messianic Jew or what? Labels don’t really matter to me. I only need one “group identity” in this life and welcome any and all to that group. At any rate, I respect what you are saying and the different directions from which we are coming still leads us right to Jesus... and that is GOOD ! ;)

Being able to identify and tag the self-loathing is a very useful thing is this day and time. They are the ones who turn on their heritage and can become the most dangerous and damaging to the heritage they rejected and came to hate.
The guilt-ridden, self-loathing white American is one of the most dangerous types in the USA; the same for their white corollaries in other Western nations. They give us 'whiteness studies" and massive immigration from the Third World, and they are at the root of most anti-American causes in the USA.
We need ways to identify and tag these self-loathers because they often become the most vicious and damaging to the heritage they rejected.
Not quite sure what you are saying here - Jesus was speaking to the Jews to continue with their feasts and holy days and all the rules and regs of the Torah EXCEPT for the ritual sacrificial slaughter. Jesus came to be the final ultimate sacrifice for us all past, present and future. Jesus came to Paul after he was resurrected. No words were spoken about the Gentiles by Jesus until after that point. Take the Gospel to the Jews and if they reject you, kick the dust off your feet and head for the Gentiles - everyone needs to hear My Word.
That to me is the game changer that many of the Jews still cannot accept. They don’t have ritual slaughters any more, so now what can it be about? Your last line confuses me - so you are saying that a new race rather than religion came out of melding the Jew and the Gentile into Christians?

When I saw that a fine English transliteration of Joshua could have been used over 900 times in the new testament instead of the greco roman latin ‘Jesus’, it was a part of a puzzle I was seeing with our Heavenly Father’s calendar.
Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 were the two scripture witnesses I needed to see that the name Jesus was as much a tradition as anything in Christendom..
Some translations over time have switched those two Jesus entries to the Joshua to make it less confusing - those verses were detailing the Joshua of the old testament..and not the Joshua of the new testament.. well, why just those two changed? If they could be changed, certainly 900 others could have changed...
Certainly a Jew who would see Joshua plastered all over the the new testament would certainly have more interest than the name they do not find in their Tanakh..that is at least an English name they are familiar with and certainly is prophetic since Joshua led them to the Promised Land.
Substitute name, holy days, sabbaths, feasts- that resemble more sun worship.. almost like a whole other savior has been created (a greco roman latin one)that looks and feels like the genuine but if one studies Torah and the prophets, is not off by the words or deeds- but how the followers teach and worship...

Jesus’ name in Hebrew is Yeshua, which means salvation. Yeshua HaMashiach, translates as Jesus the Messiah. Joshua is the English spelling of Yeshua, but it’s less confusing to use Yeshua when speaking of our Messiah.
Until the 3rd century, believers met in synagogues and would learn about the teachings of Moses on a weekly basis.They also would have celebrated the God appointed Moadim (Feast Days). Emperor Constantine was the first of many that began to separate believers from the Jewish culture and blend pagan beliefs into their worship.
As a believer in Christ, I do not have to observe the Feast Days and keep Biblically (not halachic) kosher - but I GET TO!

The Messiah of Israel was born on a New Moon Day, the first day of our Heavenly Father’s 6th month( Revelation 12:1-2-when the sun clothed her and the moon was under her feet- the sign in the sky of the constellation Virgo on a new moon day..
He was circumcised on the eight day of the first month, according to Torah.
According to Ezekiel 46:1, that calendar template means the 8th of the month is the seventh day Sabbath of the first week of His months. That template is laid out through Scripture(including the battle of Jericho)
New moon -day 1
Six work days - days 2-7
sabbath 8th day
He was dedicated in the temple 40 days after his mother’s purification, per Torah
That means He was dedicated on the 10th day of the 7th month
The day of Atonement or Yom Kippur
He was baptized on a New Moon day, His 30th birthday (1st day of His 6th month)- and then scripture tells us he immediately fasted for 40 days/nights ( just like his mother’s purification)
He was killed on the 14th day of the 1st month- Passover
He rested on the 15th in the tomb on the High Sabbath of unleavened bread- a weekly and annual Sabbath according to Ezekiel’s template
He was raised on the 16th day- the feast of first fruits..
Jews celebrated three different passovers- depending on who they follow, some had a march passover, some an April passover and some a may passover..
None of those were the greco roman latin template of good Friday, Saturday and Sunday..
Only one of those is correct... they can’t all be right...
If one knows His calendar and how His Son fulfilled His appointed times, one will know genuine from counterfeit..
If Jesus can fit all those new moons, Sabbaths and feasts, Christendom doesn’t teach them..
A counterfeit bill will have all the right words.. the shadings and sizings and markings may be different.. try to redeem a counterfeit bill anywhere the genuine’s are studied and you will get caught..
The Bride need not be so ignorant of the Bridegroom, making up days that counterfeit the genuine,.

Allow me to cut through your confusion.
Yeshua said “I am not sent but to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.”
The “Gentiles” to whom Paul preached were a special kind of gentile; the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel, primarily, and a few Greeks and Romans that had attached themselves to those congregations.
Perhaps you think that those dispersed Hebrews could not be gentiles? Not so! A gentile is one that is “out of covenant” or uncircumcised, both of which describe the dispersed Hebrews accurately.
Perhaps Louis erred slightly in calling himself a “Jew,” rather than a Hebrew, but his concept is accurate. All that follow Yeshua, and keep his commandments are Israel. This is the main point that Paul was attempting to communicate in his epistle to the Romans.

That is a false statement. Those that think that they are following Yeshua, but are not keeping his commandments as he so often begged them, are deluded, and will find themselves at the wrong end of the words spoken by Yeshua in Matthew 7:23.
To “believe” in someone in the sense that the word is used in the Bible, requires that one keep all of their teachings and commandments.

That naturally falls on the 29th day of His 4th month..(Ezekiel 46:1 template fits again) with simple counting and observation of His timekeeping..
moses came down that same day with the tablets and the church was born that same day in Acts.
Both Jew and Christian have had that day in that rear view mirror for some time.
Its a work day for Jew and gentile tomorrow..
In a counterfeit world, that makes sense..
One cannot observe His calendar and the world’s calendar..the pope gregory calendar floats around His.
There is a choice.. I pray more study His and reject the world’s conformity.
