The Obama Administration reveled this week that Delta Force commandos attempted to rescue Americans held hostage in Syria by the Islamic State. Under orders from Obama and based on what they were told was the latest Intelligence, the team raided an oil refinery in northern Syria. The commandos fought their way to the location where intelligence sources believed the Americans to be located. By the time they got there the hostages had been moved and the mission was a bust. Administration official(s) revealed the nature of the mission during a conference call with reporters. (1) They spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive and now compromised nature of the mission.
It’s a safe bet that this conference call leak was a political calculation made by Obama handlers to divert attention from his disgraceful indifference to the beheading of American Journalist James Foley. Playing golf 8 minutes after making a prepared speech to commemorate a murdered American is bad optics. But it is typical display of class by our Golfer-In-Chief.

Muhammad doesn’t play Nintendo. Warfare is dirty business and in tribal regions it is extremely brutal. Mullah Obama thinks he can defeat the Islamic State with a few well-placed Tactical strikes. These may look impressive on the evening news but in reality will do little to deter the Jihadists’ strategic goal.

Is it wise, is it even prudent, to use the phrase “Obama got in 18 holes” when referring to Obama?
After all, the Chi-Congo ‘Big Mamas’ know him as “Cake Boy”.
Has anyone ever mentioned his golf game? I am sure he sucks or they would be bragging every day. Last photo I saw he had a fairway wood from less than 100 yards. Then no more photos or mention. Anyone know what the sissy boy hits for 18.
All of this focus on golf I believe is obscuring the real problem. I heard one of the talking heads saying that Obama has only played one fourth the number of rounds of golf as President Eisenhower. No one thought Ike was a bad president.
The truth of the matter is that Ike had just finished winning WWII and was tired. Also, he had critical skills that Obama lacks. Leadership, administrative, experience, supervisory, and many more.
It's true, the POTUS does not have to be behind the desk day and night. Reagan didn't do it and was very successful. But you have to be able to pick the correct staff, give them the proper goals, motivate them, and interact effectively with the citizens and their representatives. Then you can go play golf.
We should always point out that Obama's running to the golf course constantly is a symptom of his lack of qualifications. He isn't at the White House because he doesn't belong there, he knows it, and now it is obvious to the rest of the world.
I think he just likes to drive the golf cart.

Well there is the problem. The job is easily half dine, if that. Plenty of well performing college students I know do everything from golf to video games. They do make sure the jon is done though.
I’ve been wondering the same thing. They used to talk about Clinton’s mulligans. Obama probably just writes in his score at the beginning of the round and his sycophants just make it happen.

As a state legislator he voted present to do so. As a Senator he prepared to run rather than doing anything in the Senate and now in the WH he is preparing for his next job as a media darling with endless time to comment as he arrives and leaves the links. The lazy in this one is strong.

If sports clears the mind, excessive sports may excessively clear the mind, leaving a vast pocket of air. Which, of course, explains a lot.
When and if the IS does mount a serious attack on the USA—like taking down the Sears Tower in Chicago or something, Obama will not be able to take the call because he will be golfing. Anyone ever think—Obama could be taken out on an open golf course by a drone? He may well be placing himself in IS danger by playing this game?
