Where's Obama's Military Honor guard?

Some recent photos that I've seen of Obama stepping off his presidential planes and helicopters don't seem to include the traditional Military Honor Guards. Michelle is missing too.
Is this a recent development or are they just stock photos reused over and over again?

Actually, with the lazy media we have today, it is all stock photos. When Obama supposedly talked to Putin, the photo was one that was from a previous meeting. All the news media does anyway is reprint whatever the latest press release is, and then they get to marry politicians and go to the cocktail parties.

Stock photos — It’s always the same — he jogs down the steps of the aircraft with his little fists bouncing at his abdomen. Then he takes 10 “light in the loafers” steps and breaks into a hearty wave. Who is he waving at all the time?

I seem to remember a story that all photos are distributed to the press by the WH. There was even a boycott going on by some outlets.
