Letter: A review of Palin’s resume: She’s no idiot
The Glenwood Springs Post Independent ^ | July 24, 2014 | Floyd Diemoz

Posted on 07/25/2014 8:46:13 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The July 15 cartoon in the Post Independent showing Sara Palin as an impeachment buffoon reminds me of the recent rebranding of her as an “idiot” by progressives and their media disciples following speeches she gave at a conference in January. An idiot is a mentally deficient person below a moron or imbecile with an IQ under 25.

Those who over the past six years continue to call her nasty names should admit her down-to-earth resume and life experiences at the time she was placed on the Republican Presidential ticket in 2008 far exceed Barack Obama’s paper-thin resume.

Sara Palin: Elected to her hometown City Council (1992); Elected mayor, cut property taxes 75 percent (1996); Elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors (1999); Appointed to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and was the commission’s ethics supervisor, then chairman (2003); Filed an ethics complaint against a member of the Oil and Gas Commission, who was chairman of the state’s Republican Party, who resigned and paid a fine; Joined in an ethics complaint against Alaska’s Republican attorney general, who resigned; Defeated the incumbent Republican governor in the gubernatorial primary; Defeated the former Alaskan Democratic governor, at the age of 42, becoming the first female and youngest governor in Alaska’s history (2006); Strived to clean up Alaska’s good ol’ boy fraternity with an ethics reform bill, one of her first projects as governor; Reduced expenses 80 percent from the previous governor’s gubernatorial expenditures; Promoted oil and gas development in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge; and is a remarkable fisherman, hunter, homemaker and mother, all this along with a sense of humor.

She was unmercifully vilified precisely because her accomplishments were substantial when compared to Sen. Obama’s. It’s a mystery how she accomplished so much when so many continue to believe her a low-IQ idiot. With her success in rooting out dishonest and unethical politicians there is little wonder that our media despises her call for our president’s impeachment.

The zealots on the detached side are probably beginning their offensive against any female who might be inclined to run against their sweet Hildebeast.

A resume more impressive then either Hillary or Obama. Palin has accomplished things, something neither Hillary nor Obama can say.

She has accomplished every goal modern feminism says you can’t do burdened with a man and children, WITH the support of her husband and family. She’s also an outspoken Christian and not beholden to the feminist Left.

And the Left hates her for all that.

I was talking with a guy at work today.

He’s a pretty determined liberal. He started off running down Sarah Palin, but after I defended her it seemed he lightened up significantly.

It was interesting. Maybe he was just being polite, but it seemed to me, more than that.

a few other things...she’s held actual jobs, paid a mortgage, raised kids while working, owned several small businesses, belonged to a church, and has been active in her community.

She started her political career in her folks’ kitchen not at the home of a terrorist. The only time she changed her name was when she got married, and her school and work records are all public. She’s even got a real birth certificate!

Just a few little things some really smart people haven’t done.

One of the nuttiest, most insane Palin-haters is Don Imus.

Don Imus show Imus behind the scenes it may be blocked now. It is a daily log written by his staff about the show and other things.

November 8, 2013 7:15:18 – The Boss reacts to Sarah Palin’s speech at the Billy Graham Birthday Celebration: “Is there any way that she could be put to sleep? If they put a bunch of scientist together to assemble the dumbest person in the world…they couldn’t make one more stupid than her.” An uncharacteristically measured response from the I-Man.

I know it's his thing to say outrageous things but he and his social crowd hate Palin and he was deadly serious. I heard it. I recall that it was Friday November 8, 2013 show. Why do people like Imus and his ultra liberal crowd hate? Palin is not the only one they'd singled out. And not a peep out of the public.

Ah.. it's just Imus, they say. There's a lot of nuts out there and leftist really do hate and fear her. Imus, et al. should be made aware of the doctrine of vicarious liability. Note: I welcome any excuse to post this outrageous behavior by drug-addled Don.

Went to the link, and the article was blocked out. In order to see the article, they wanted me to answer a question about medications I’ve taken. I reloaded the page several times, and there were different stupid questions each time. The only other option to read it was to share it via Twitter, or like it on Facebook. They wouldn’t even let you read any of the comments unless you had a Facebook account. I refuse to answer their dumb questions, and don’t do social network sites, so I guess it wasn’t an article I needed to read.

Don’t forget, she had the nerve to graduate from the University of Idaho and still aspire to national office.

If you didn’t go to an Ivy League college, all of which are on the East Coast, you will be automatically and forever branded an idiot by the media in the New America. Because we’re all equal. Except those who went to Harvard. They’re smartest and fittest to rule... well, let’s just say it... the smartest and fittest to rule over all you idiots who went to a STATE COLLEGE! In the west! Or the south. Or the midwest.

You get a pass if you went to Stanford or Cal Tech. But Harvard is still better.

And Eureka College is why they still manage to brand Reagan an idiot even after his genius has been vindicated by history.

I remember reading that her speaking was compared to Obama’s and Sarah scored at a higher grade than Obama. Of course this wasn’t paid any attention to by the MSM.

Can’t find it now but I had saved a post written by a cardiologist in NY and he said that Sarah was very smart, offered her high praise, and then said anybody who had the hostile media turned loose with them for hours on end could be made to look stupid by editing (Couric).

That Nicole Wallace and her buddy were out to get Sarah from the start. Whose idea that was we can only guess.

Plus, Palin even bucked her own party, when blowing the whistle on corruption, putting on the line her whole potential political career. How often do you see “politicians” willing to do such a thing? A leader who also governed, totally unbeholden to outside interests, whether Party machines, lobbyists, corporate donors, unions, special-interest groups, or even media pressure?

Palin remains one of only political leaders in the past twenty years that I genuinely hold in high respect and admiration.

A noble effort, Floyd, but facts and logic will have no effect on a liberal. You would have better luck trying to break concrete with a tennis ball.

I have to answer their silly questions to post articles like that. About 3-4 times a week, I reckon.

They have tremendous guilt over promoting and having abortions. They see how this wonderful woman lived her beliefs, and embraced her son, a son who they thought and even voiced that he should have been aborted. In there hearts they know they are wrong. Sarah is a reminder of the lost babies that they are responsible for.

The problem with the Hildebeast is what has she accomplished as First Lady, US Senator and Secretary of State? She like Zer0 both have a legacy of underachievement. If the Hildebeast becomes President, what will be her obsession to take her mind away from the task of office. It will not be golf, like the present occupant. I predict it will be booze as she is already headed down that road.

By the way, where is that video of the Hildebeast staggering carefully up the stairs on the State Department’s plane in Yemen and falling flat on her face at the top of the stairs? Perhaps the cleanup of her image is underway to sanitize her history for her bid to the White House.
