After almost 100 years the owners of the Panama Canal realized they had to widen its lanes to accommodate larger cargo ships.

Once the decision was made they opted to make a huge leap and configure their capabilities to allow ships carrying up to 2 ½ times the containers that have been in use for the past several years. They crowed that it was the “…most comprehensive strategy to cut air pollution and reduce health risks ever produced for a global seaport complex.”

I large percentage of power for California comes from Coal fired plants in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Mexico. California boast they are a “green” state as they pollute other states to get their power. I know, I live in California, and I know what our leadership in Sacramento does

Liberals believe that all their ideas will result in only the desired outcome and that they will not affect the way people and businesses react.

And when people react rationally liberals castigate them as uncaring and criminal and pass more laws.

The limousine liberals on the coast are happy to have fewer ships, trucks and people getting in their way. The limousine liberals aren’t environmentalists. They are greedy, selfish, lying rats out to get what they want.....isolation. Exclusivity is the real sign of wealth and power. You serfs in California are nothing but a bother.

The people of Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, and Wilmington would like to thank the Los Angelinos and Long Beachers for their economic gift. Keep up the good work... In fact, you should probably increase you restrictions more. But don't forget to turn out the lights. We don't want you to waste any energy that we can use to expand our facilities even more.

Exactly. Liberals see problems everywhere and then pass laws to “fix” them which only make them worse and then they have new solutions to fix the problems they caused.

Living in California is like always being on vacation. ..
Its dirty, crowded, horribly expensive, crazy drivers and traffic, and nobody speaks English

And when they have completely screwed things up, they move to a new state and start the process over again.

It's as stupid (Yes, Stupid) as the EPA running manufacturing out of the USA
to other countries so we can claim to be Greener. The Manufacturing doesn't stop
we just lose economy and jobs by the millions.
